Came here to watch the US play in the Copa America. It also happened to be Trivia Tuesday. Ordered the Philly Cheese steak which was just OK. Beer prices are alright as well. Our server was pretty friendly. Overall, ~$ 30 for two beers and a meal. Trivia tuesday was pretty cool! Definitely guided more towards the older crowd but still fun. Hostess was nice as well. Overall, not bad but not great.

I just had dinner here with my parents, and I’ve never been so disappointed in my life. My dad got fish & chips, my mom got steak kabobs, and I got the steak wrap special. It took 45 minutes for our food to come out, and it didnt even come out all at once. When it did come out they messed up my order and my mom’s order. My mom repeatedly expressed that she is allergic to tomatoes, and they put tomatoes on her plate. I look at my food and I see chicken rather than the steak I wanted. Based on how the hostess(there was no manager working tonight) explained what happened, I can conclude that they need a better ticket system, communication and a better way to accept payment for credit cards. On the upside, we were given a 25 $ gift card, so there is a good chance we will return for a hopefully better evening.

The«Cheers» of Glastonbury. Not too busy on a Monday night. Overpriced drinks, but the friendly staff makes up for it.

As someone who honestly has been coming to the Diamond every single Friday for the past five years or so with my friends, I can say that this is a place where they make you feel like you are at home. Everyone that works here is wonderful and takes the time to get to know the patrons. It is a fun place to watch a game, especially come playoff time, when the atmosphere is electric. The food is excellent, which is rare for a sports bar, but I’ve eaten here so many times and I’ve never had a bad meal. The service is great. Monica, Keith, Brendon, and Amanda are wonderful bartenders and it’s so nice to be greeted with a smile every time I come in. I highly recommend the Diamond for great drinks, food, and friendly service.

This pub & grill is a diamond in the rough, ha see what I did there? «Why rough?» you ask in bewilderment, well come along on this worded journey of amusement and spectacle with me as I explain! Glastonbury is primarily made up of establishments in the likes of Plan Z, Roofplop 120, Bricckkhha, Secure-uh, J. Giblets, and the Maximus«It’s a me Amore-o», and the Fish joints there. So, to have Diamond where you can relax in a casual atmosphere, NOT pay half of your paycheck and a portion of your mortgage to hang out at whilst you eat or drink, and on top of that enjoy a delicious menu? BRAVO! Golf claps and poetry snaps all around! Let’s start with the menu, it’s loaded with options, you don’t get one simple page where you can choose either the salad, crazy soup of the day that nobody has ever heard of and a ridiculous sandwich with pasta on it… No, here you have choices ranging from salads, yes, albeit salads loaded with options, wraps that are completely original and never fail to satisfy, to a build it yourself burger, and my new favorite, the Philly cheese(although it just needs a little bit more meat, but it’s so inexpensive I’m torn asking for this). The prices for these items are very inexpensive and you get more than you paid for… The staff is incredibly friendly and quick, and always checking up to see if you’re all set, every time we’re there we seem to get Leana and she’s just a pleasure to have as our waitress, she builds a great rapport and is very attentive. So, out of the last six times I’ve dined in Glastonbury, four have been at Diamond and I plan on going back for more. The coolest thing about Diamond, and I don’t ever say this because you always have that ONE thing on the menu that you like when you go someplace, here is different. Every time I go in I want to try something different, that’s worth something right there. My only two issues is the parking can get a little hard to find if you go on a busy day or night, and my one request, please just turn the heat down a little? :O Other than that, keep up the good work sport!

I know this is 3 stars but this place is great to have around. It’s not expensive, everything is good enough and it has a good neighborhood feel. Bar is a good size and they have a good selection of beer on tap. There are lots of TVs and the food is certainly good enough bar food. Place is clean. Staff is helpful and professional. If you just want a place to have some nachos and watch a game, you can’t go wrong.

This has been our go-to place for 8 years now. I love the open set up of the bar, and all of the bartenders tend to get to know the customers(most of the time the drink is put down in front of me before I even sit down). Awesome place to come watch the game, meet up with friends, or come for dinner on a date. The Diamond is the best bar in Glastonbury(especially compared to the overpriced Rooftop or Plan B’s bar, where 18 year olds dress up like they’re going out to clubs in NYC). Definitely worth checking out.

All around great location to enjoy better than average food, great prices and down to earth service. Even though the diamond is not a first thought on our mind, we always have an enjoyable time at this bar. Beer selection is usually pretty good and the buffalo chicken dip is a crowd winner. I’d recommend this place to friends, groups and couples looking for a low key but great night.

This is a solid sports bar in Glastonbury with good food, decent prices, lots of TVs and lots of seating, both indoors and out. I’ve tried their wings, wraps and salad and I’ve never been disappointed. My mother and her friend have tried some of the dinner specials and have always enjoyed their meals. Oh, also when they have pizza night, they order the wings from here and the pizza from a nearby spot that obviously doesn’t beat the buffalo wings at Diamond! Drinks aren’t bad either, and they won’t cost you a paycheck like some other nearby spots. It can get noisy, but it’s a sports bar, we aren’t telling you it’s a romantic perfect first date spot, unless you’re both sports fanatics.

Good local place in Glastonbury. Laid back and friendly. They have a fairly big tap selection with some rotating crafts. The food isn’t award winning, but solid bar food to accompany a cold beer and conversation. Wings are very good. Better than Buffalo Wild Wings in my opinion and much cheaper. Good local place for lunch or to watch a game with friends. Nice covered patio outside.

Diamond Pub & Grill is a conventional sports pub built not for a quality meal, but to provide beers and grub for a good time during sporting events. Just by glancing at the menu, I would agree with most of the reviews here that the food is mediocre, your typical bar fare. That’s the sort of vibe I got upon entering Diamond. I came in with low expectations, but shockingly so, I left very satisfied and it’s all thanks to their taco salad. The salad comes in a fried taco shell with lettuce, tomato, olives, cheese and your choice of chicken or chili. I got the chili which was the best part of the meal(& I guess the fancy taco shell too). A little pricey for a salad from a pub if you ask me, but I did leave with leftovers.

Definitely a local bar. No major frills and no specific sports allegiances.(Based on the décor, they seem to like everyone!) Lots of outdoor seating, which is great. Just be sure to bring some bug spray. For real. The quesadillas(3 types!) and buffalo chicken sliders are substantial. Mozzarella sticks were meh and a little hard. With a full bar on a Friday night, service was a little slow, but this seems like a great spot to kick back and does a decent job with large parties.

This is a great sports bar for Glastonbury. They’ve got tons of TVs and a big menu with lots of options and specials. It can get really loud in there on weeknights during happy hour, so not a quiet place for conversation and catching up at busy times. Service is quick and friendly and the sandwiches are big and filling.

We came here to watch a game during the week; I tried three beers all of which were flat and tasted old. All of the flies and fruit flies flying around made me hesitant to try the food. The bathrooms were also really messy, which I found odd considering it wasn’t even busy. This would not be my first, second, or third recommendation for a good sports bar.

Nice little sports bar in a town that doesn’t really have much else to offer. I am traveling on business and this place was recommended when I asked my server at a local restaurant where I could watch a game. Drinks are priced right and poured well. Friendly service. Their wings are GREAT! Lots of TVs and they were kind enough to switch channels on my request. Solid place!

Looks like a dive on the outside but it is nicer once you go in. The bar looks cool… it wraps all the way around and seemed to have a pretty good crowd for early afternoon on a weekday. Service was very good. The food was mediocre. I had the special strawberry salad… and it was good… but seriously small for $ 13 bucks. My co worker had the veggie burger… which looked just like one of those frozen bocca burgers from the grocery store… but her sweet potato fries were glorious! Extra star for those fries alone. It was a good place to try once but it would not be my first pick as a place to go back to.

I decided a Monday night when there was no really important(aka NCAA Men’s Sweet 16) game on would be a good time to try a sports bar, so I could actually see what it was like. The disclaimer on this review is that we had a gift card. If I had actually spent the money on dinner, I would have been a lot more disappointed. The place was pretty empty, which was fine, but none of the TV’s had closed captioning. There were some games, some sitcoms… and I didn’t know what was being said on any screen. The best part of the entertainment in the place was the very loud guy a few tables away, speaking to a girl who was obviously on one of the worst dates I’ve ever heard. We ordered a plain cheeseburger, medium rare, and a Cobb salad. The burger was average, but overcooked(Medium to Mid-well), and the salad was TINY. Not as small as a side salad, but for $ 12, you’d expect more than what you get. An egg, a very few slices of avocado, a pale red tomato, tons of bacon bits, and what looked like half a breast of grilled chicken. The«warm» brownie sundae wasn’t warm — the ice cream wasn’t even melting. It was fine, per se, but I think with a bit more microwave and maybe a bit more attention, it would have been a better end to a mediocre meal. If I wanted a good meal and were given the choice, I would go to Plan B across the street; if a large group wanted to come here to watch a game, I’d probably go back.

Came here to catch a game and grab some food. The place gets pretty packed and it was pure luck that we were able to find a seat — but by halftime of a sunday night football game the place pretty much clears out. We got a sampler platter with wings, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. All the food offerings were ‘so-so,’ nothing terrible but nothing above and beyond, tasted like basic warm up food that we pay 300% more than they paid by virtue of being a restaurant. However, there were an ample of amount of clear pictured HD television sets, good bar seating, and the place was clean. Overall, a good place to get off your couch and go out to if you’re feeling a bit of cabin fever and need to get out.
