Came here tonight with my fiancé. It was fantastic. I got the Firehouse Mac n cheese grilled cheese with Tomato soup. Both were delicious. Our server was friendly and quick to serve us. The only issue I have is when I go again do I get the Fire house Mac n cheese GC again or try one of the many other fantastic sounding sandwiches.

I was amazed at this restaurant. They took a simple twist on a standard grilled cheese sandwich and made it mouth watering delicious! The different sandwiches and specialities are great! I loved my buffalo Mac N Cheese! Highly recommended!

The grilled cheese was more like toasted bread with melted cheese it seems as if the chicken was cooked yesterday it was so hard and tasteless. The waitress was awesome but the food needs a lot of help maybe it was an off-day

I just can’t give out 4 stars due to cleanliness and lack of service. Great food but service was truly lacking and they need to clean! There was only one guy working the counter and tables. It took what seemed like forever for us to order drinks. Then when waiter came and we stated we were ready to put in food order he insisted on getting it after he brings out the drinks. Well drinks were brought and he did not take our order until about 5 minutes later. Really? Hungry adults and kids here! The high chair was filthy and i had to use my own wipes. The floor was disgustingly dusty, i only know because my infant’s toy fell and it was covered with so must dust, and yes i washed it before giving it back to her. That’s a shame because the food was good maybe i’ll just get take out next time. The fried chicken & bacon grilled cheese was overall delicious. The accompanying tomato soup was satisfying. I had a piece of the black bean chicken quesadilla and that was just ok. The beans were dry. The parmesan garlic fries were good.

Fried pickles were delicious, cheese steak grilled cheese and Texas chicken sandwich were great. I’m impressed. It was slightly on the expensive side, but you seem to pay for quality with Steve’s. Worth it.

If you’re feelin’ simple, but gluttonous, this is the spot. Comfort food taken up just a notch to plain deliciousness. Got the mac n cheese bites appetizer, and the bbq pulled pork mac grilled cheese. The appetizer comes with 4 [large] blocks of fried, breaded mac n’ cheese with a cheese dip. It’s nothing world-class but, hey, we thoroughly enjoyed it! The mac is the larger shell type with a creamy sauce. No Velveeta/Kraft aftertaste here. My sandwich was great – thick buttery white bread sandwiching one of the above mac n’ cheese bites, pulled pork in bbq sauce, fried pickle, and red onion. The flavors balanced nicely and I was honestly surprised by how good the pulled pork was. The onion and fried pickle complimented everything well. (And no, I was not maxed out on mac n’ cheese by the end of all this) Fries have a lot of room for improvement – they were both soggy and bland. Staff is genuinely friendly, and be sure to pay attention to the funny wall art. I could only imagine how heavenly Steve’s is when you’re intoxicated, but either way, I recommend.

So, I ordered from this place last week and we loved the food, but it was a long wait. We ordered again tonight at 6:19 pm and right now it is 7:59 and they just finally pulled up. I called the business at 7:24 and they explained they had a catering order and our order was out for delivery. Whoever I spoke to was very nice. At 7:54, I called again and spoke to someone else. I am a customer who had now waited almost two hours for my order, and this guy was a jerk. He even hung up on me, which was totally unprofessional. I was looking for more information than knowing my order was out for delivery and I did not need to hear all about the catering order. In a total male genitalia move, he even asked me if I wanted him to call Grub Hub to refund my money and he’ll tell his driver not to deliver it! My advice for the owner is to hire a few more people, as it seems he is way understaffed. I cannot say that I won’t ever order again, but I will say that I will speak quite poorly of their customer service.

I ordered a to go order from here one time. It was pretty good, but I can’t justify spending $ 10 for a grilled cheese. The«Roma» tomatoes seemed like the run of the mill type and there was a very stingy smear of pesto on the bread which was pretty good. The small portion of tomato soup looked and tasted EXACTLY like Campbell’s. I asked when placing my order if the soup was made in-house and was told that it is, but I’m skeptical. Anybody who eats tomato soup knows Campbell’s. They have specials for dine-in only. Whatever. By the looks of all the uncleared tables, I would say they do pretty good lunch business. I did not see a server in the dining room at all.

This place is fantastic. The food is great, the staff is friendly and the place is clean. My wife and I shared the caprese and the grilled cheese steak. I would highly recommend both. We also shared their mac & cheese bites and the fried pickles and both were good. The place is casual and perfect for a fun lunch with your kids or a late night snack. The server told me they have a second location in sea isle, nj and are thinking about opening a third on the Wildwood boardwalk. I would definitely recommend this place.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. My family stopped by on a whim and were blown away by the quality of food. If you think this place is just a grilled cheese joint, you’re wrong. We had great pasta, chicken parm, and oh by the way phenomenal grilled cheese. We also got a chance to meet the chef, he’s a heck of a good guy and really knows his stuff. I would never have expected so many layers of flavor in the pasta sauce. The waitress was great with our 7 year old and 2.5 year old, too. We’ll definitely be back, if for no other reason than trying out the pulled pork!

I went for the first time yesterday, and I really enjoyed myself. Although it took an itty-bitty-bit long to get our food, it was well worth the wait. My chicken tenders were very fresh, tasty, tender, and piping hot. The ranch dressing was super good. The freshly cut french fries were good, too. They didn’t have any mayo on hand, which was a bummer, but the owner gave us some Sriracha mayo instead… fine by me! :) My sister had the mac’n grilled cheese, and it was pretty legit. The tomato soup was okay, but I’m not a good judge on tomato soup quality, because I’ll take a can of Campbell’s tomato soup over any homemade batch of tomato soup any day. What they served was super duper fresh and homemade, so if you hate processed tomato soup, you will likely love Steve’s version. :) It’s evident that this establishment takes a lot of pride in the dishes that they create, and the prices aren’t bad at all. Probably the only drawback is the drinking water: it had a strange after taste, but that might be out of the restaurant’s control. It wasn’t a horrific taste, just kind of strange. And for all of you neat freaks out there, this place is really tidy. It also has a cutesy décor. More importantly, the staff is really nice. The manager made a point to come out to the dining area and ask patrons how they were enjoying their meals. In general, I had a nice time eating here, and I would go back again.

This place was very good and had a surprisingly good variety of types of grilled cheese(and related foods). The tomato soup should be better, especially for a grilled cheese place. It was very watery and did not have to much flavor. The grilled Mac and cheese-buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious! Don’t expect anything healthy, just really good flavor!

Just ordered from here for the first time through Grub Hub… delicious! Ordered the grilled cheesesteak, Mac and cheese bites, chicken fingers, and Caesar salad. Everything was freshly prepared, good-sized portions, and friendly delivery guy! Highly recommend ordering from here!

A few weeks ago I came home to a menu in my mailbox(maybe it was on my doorstep, either way) and I was filled with excitement when I saw that Steve’s Grilled Cheese from Sea Isle was coming to G-Boro. My fiancé, also named Steve, had tried their buffalo Mac and cheese grilled cheese at Skimmer Weekend a while back, and I tried it and loved it. We ordered takeout about a week after receiving the menu. One bite and we were hooked. The fried pickles are delicious, the fries are fresh cut and perfect, and the cheesesteak grilled cheese is phenomenal. We’ve ordered again since and are raving to everyone that they must try Steve’s!

Not your Mom’s grilled cheese… Way better!(Sorry Mom) Creative variety of classic and unique grilled cheese and other sandwiches, fries, and other home cooked favorites. Around the corner @ 200 yards off the Rowan University campus. Definately worth the trip to Steve’s. This is apparently their second location, with first being in Sea Isle, NJ.
