Red Robin Gourmet Burgers

Came in for lunch with my 6year old. We were seated right away. Server was on time with everything. I ordered one of signature burgers and it was delicious. A little over cooked, but not too much to make a fuss over. Because I ordered a medium it was on the low side of well done. The Bacon on the burger was so thin it was somewhat comical. Still not a big deal. It was tasty though. I would just say hen someone is paying almost $ 15 for a burger the presentation should be better. I also tasted the kids burger my daughter got and it was horrible. Worse that a cafeteria burger from High School.

We hadn’t eaten here for a little while and now I remember why. It doesn’t seem to matter how you order your burger cooked, because it is coming out charred. Period. It will be well-​done and probably charred. It just seems to be how these kids cook here.
We got seated quickly as a party of 3 on a Sunday night at 5pm. We ordered 2 apps and 3 burgers. Apps were great, came out fast. Once we put in burger order waitress disappeared so we couldn’t tell her our daughter actually wanted to add mac n cheese to her order so when the kitchen gal brought our meals out, we told her and she passed the word to our waitress. 15 mins later waitress finally appears to ask if we need anything and says she is about go to check on the mac n cheese, and tells my husband she will get him a drink. Another 10 mins later she finally appears with mac n cheese and drink and husband asks for fries since its supposed to be bottomless fries, right?
I’ve realized that is how they get you on the bottomless fries deal, they just never come back around where you can ask for more fries, so you are finished with the rest of your meal before you could possibly get anymore. So a good 10 mins after that she finally brings a plate of fries out and we just tell her to take them back away because why on earth would he want them now, we are ready to leave and wanting our check.
We get the check and walk to the front rather than wait for her to find the time to come back to our table (she was NOT busy was just missing in action, hiding in the back somewhere or something, she only had one other table that we could see besides us). I handed our check and credit card to the host at the front and asked if he could take care of this for me because we were not waiting on her to come back, and instead of asking if anything was wrong or if he could do anything for us, he just takes the check to her with our cc and they run the card and he brings me the receipt and has me sign and tells us to have a good night. Didn’t have one ounce of concern that we were upset and felt no responsibility to inquire or offer to get someone to talk to us. Will NEVER return.

We eat here a lot. The food is good and we always get a good waiter. The only thing that bothers me is it is always slam packed with people.

I would put zero if they would let you do it. We can and sat in a both and never got waited on. Finally we sat at the bar where someone waited on us. I said something to the manager who really didn’t care. I don’t think that we will be back to this location.

I was not impressed with the service it was not busy at all and the food took extremely long to come, when I ordered hot tea they were out of clean glass, when they finally gave me a glass it was dirty with lipstick on it. This is an example of poor management. This location is going down…

I had bad service at Red Robin and did a negative Unilocal review. I was immediately contacted and the situation was resolved well above my expectations.
Met with the store manager and we had great service. We will definitely be return customers!

What has happened here? It’s so bad now. Service is very bad, consistently. We just gave this place another chance, waited, waited, and waited and no one ever came to serve us. It gave us lots of time to look at our surroundings and it was really filthy. Table sticky, lots of trash on the floors, and we had to wipe our chair/​bench due to food on them. Yuck, just can’t recommend this location any more. When we left we let the hostess know, she said our waitress was on break?!?

I got the avocado BLT on croissant with sweet potato fries and speckled lemonade and I was more than happy. The waitress was very good. We liked how we could pay the check at the table on the game screen and that it probably made it easier for the staff as well. The atmosphere isn’t substantial, but the food is great for it being a chain.

We arrived after the lunch crowd. It was obvious, since there were at least 6 dirty unbussed tables that stayed that way the entire time we were there, even though there were several waiters walking by. The burger and salad were good when they finally arrived. Unfortunately, the long wait allowed me time to observe that the restaurant could use a good cleaning. Probably won’t be back for a long time.

I want to start off by saying I’ve never had any problems with this establishment in the past. That being said, tonight was one for the books. First off, there were ants walking next to my wife. I told one of the shift mgrs and he stated he was aware of them and was waiting for an exterminator to come and take care of it. Next, when we ordered our appetizers, we also ordered our entrees. And I guess that was part of the problem. Our apps came out in a reasonable amount of time, but then the wait… Our apps were all gone and the waitress came up and said she was gonna check on our entrees. 15 minutes later she comes back and said her mgr would come out with the order and explain what happened. He came out a couple of minutes later and explained that when the apps and entrees are ordered at the same time, the entrees would be put on a hold for a bit to allow us time to eat the apps but unfortunately, out entrée order got lost. So the waitress had to resubmit our order. I will say this, the food was great when it did arrive. I love the Burnin’ Love burger. One more thing, they offer free Wifi, but apparently, that’s only for the customers in the front of the restaurant. Our signal in the back was too weak to use. The Mgr did take 20% off our check for our inconvenience. I usually only Unilocal when I get really great service or as in this case, things don’t go so well.

There is no way to put anything less than a 5 on these delicious burgers and fries. Cooked perfectly with the right amount of juice, a nice bum and seasoned to perfection. The fries were crisp and not over oiled.

When i first walked in the door I was greeted quickly and a beer was poured in minutes. You better plan to only get one beer though because you won’t hear back from the bartender until you are ready to leave. You might be thinking the place was busy… If one other patron accounts for a packed house then I better get into the bar business!
On top of getting the beer he left off part of my order and the beer itself was stale. Eventually I managed to grab is attention free 15 – 20 mins of an empty glass and a finished plate. I ordered more endless fries and a second beer. After another 20 minutes I realized I’m not getting my fries and I still cannot find the bartender.
My advice–
Get a table or go to Applebee’s next door!

I liked this place. The veggie patties are delicious. You can select any burger on their menu and have it with either a Boca or veggie pattie in stead of beef or chicken. The bottomless fries are also good. Red Robin-​Yum!

This was one of the worst dining experiences we have had in a long time. We were a party of 6, and were given a 20 – 25 minute wait. We went to the bar for drinks and appetizers. Sean came to our table pretty quickly and took our drink order. They only had enough iced tea for one of our orders, but were told they were freshly brewing more. 20 minutes later still no drink. Our appetizer came pretty quickly, but when we asked Sean for more chips and refills on our drinks, he disappeared for 10 minutes. My husband ordered a margarita and they either didn’t use the right mix, or the mix was bad. After waiting 45 minutes our table still wasn’t ready. Sean brought refills, no chips and didn’t clear any of the dirty dishes. After an hour and a talk to the manager we were finally seated. We ordered dinner and it came out quickly. The chips that we ordered 30 minutes earlier showed up when we were half way through or meal. Despite being attentive, our second waiter never pre-​bussed our table and we sat with dirty plates for quite some time before he cleared them. Food was decent, service was horrendous.

What a pleasant experience we had at this Red Robin last night! The three of us walked in at 6pm and were immediately seated. Our server, Lynn, was one of the best we have ever had at this chain. She was pleasant, attentive and had the food delivered in a timely manner — which was important because we intended to see a movie at the theatre next door. When I mentioned that fact to Lynn, she offered to get us discount tickets from the front desk (which saved us a few bucks), way to go Lynn! Excellent customer service skills, Red Robin should be proud. The food was well prepared, burgers tasty and fresh. I had the blackened salmon with broccoli and cole slaw was also a good selection (recommended by Lynn). Ambiance was typical RR, kid friendly, noisy and full of energy.

We had a good meal here tonight. I had the bleu ribbon burger and my wife had tje whiskey river burger. Both were a touch over cooked, but still good. We will definitely be going back!

Ate lunch here with a friend, but I have been here many times as I used to live around the corner and my daughter worked here (she doesn’t anymore). I absolutely love their fried zucchini appetizer. The zucchini is cut in large spears with a tempura batter sprinkled with parmesan, so good! I ordered the Burnin’ Love burger which makes my eyes water but is delicious. I like that they will serve it with pink, as some places won’t do that anymore. And if a burger doesn’t have pink, it’s overcooked! I also like the garlic parmesan fries. On previous visits I have had the Whiskey River burger, the A.1 Peppercorn burger, the Bruschetta Chicken, and the Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad, but the Burnin’ Love burger is my favorite!

I like Red Robin and I think it’s a fun place to take the kids, but the food isn’t all that great and I can make a better burger at home. Despite the many «gourmet» offerings, I always end up feeling that every ingredient came frozen or in a can, from Sysco.
So, if you want a quick dinner before a movie, or you are 16 and on a date, this is a good place. If you are looking for something special or different, Red Robin is not for you.

This place was okay, nothing special.
The food was much better than all of my previous visits and the service has improved significantly. I will say, when they are busy… the service is pretty slow.
Again, nothing special.
Edited to add: the host/​hostess team sucks. No body greeted us when we came in, we had to ask to be seated and nobody acknowledged or thanked us when we were leaving.

I usually come to this place after seeing a movie at the Regal’s in People’s Plaza. It’s always clean and the staff has always been friendly. I’ve never visited during dinner or late nights so every time I’ve been there it’s pretty much empty (as far as customers). I ordered the «Burin’ Love Burger» and it was yummy. I usually have to cut my burger in half because they are so large. The chipotle mayo was really good. I wish they would use romaine instead of ice berg lettuce in their side salads. Their drinks (non-​alcoholic) are always yummy.
