On our first visit the baked goods tasted at least day old. I hadn’t gone back until recently I heard they were under new management. Every time I tried to go, they were closed. There are no signs indicating this is permanent, but but the blinds are always down with closed sign in the door.

Stopped in because we were in town and saw the good Unilocal reviews. Place has a nice bakery feel and the baked goods looked delicious. The staff in extremely friendly and caring. The coffee was good but nothing special and the sandwiched were really good. Wheat bread was the best. The prices were very affordable. Room for improvement: styrofoam cups could be replaced with cardboard cup(most places do this now) or glass mugs for sit in customers. I would rather have real cheese slices on my sandwich instead of the American singles. Overall place is great and I’ll prolly stop back when we’re back in town

Prices are higher than the quality and service.

This is a nice little place to enjoy coffee and pastry or a light lunch. I especially enjoy the soups — the chicken and beef noodle are both very good. The chicken salad is good as well. The bakery offers pretty basic fare — no fancy artisanal breads — but they’ve slowly expanded their offerings. Their pies are especially yummy; many different kinds, all beautifully made, reasonably priced. The coffee is always good. There’s really only one other coffee shop in town, one that doesn’t have much in the way of a food menu, so when visitors ask me about local café’s I steer them here.

I love this bakery. They are always friendly and the baked goods are delicious! If you are looking for a standard cup of coffee and a good roll or doughnut(or yummy chicken or egg salad sandwiches in the afternoon), this is your place. If you want more of a coffee shop experience with scones and a latte you may be a bit disappointed. For the small town bakery that they are, two thumbs up.

In my spare time, I daydream that this place is 2x the size, has WiFi and serves a decent espresso. The pastry case is always full with fresh, yummy baked goods. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. When visiting town, my routine includes wifi and latte at the other place in town, then stop in here for a treat. Wish I could combine it all here. TIP: The meringue is amazing.
