We cannot praise Two Friends Masonry enough for the high quality workmanship, professionalism, and dependability they demonstrated on the extensive project they constructed and installed at our home. Demo and removal of 50-​yr-​old timbers that were rotted and full of bees and wasps were handled without complaint. Pavers were then matched, cut, and laid with artistic precision by John and his assistant to create a fully seamless wraparound of two patios and sidewalks that now surround our home. Vertical concrete retaining walls with a hand-​applied ‘plaster’ effect on the front face surface, specially-​ordered capstones, installation of a circular paver pattern in the front courtyard, and the installation of a 500-​lb European-​style working water fountain have made our outdoor living space a magazine quality environment for entertaining and enjoying year around. John is a military vet, a family man, and a master mason whose every project is a testament to his skill and dedication to doing an outstanding job for each client. He’s the best contractor we’ve ever worked with.

John is a heck of a man. Haven’t seen anyone heave around 50+ pound chunks of concrete with relative ease. He’s quick, efficient, and affordable. Having the right tools for the job, not to mention a really nice hauling trailer is nice to see as well.

We negotiated initial design via cell phone, exchanging photos and ideas. John sent me a bid via e-​mail, with full contract details. He and his partner got the work done expertly and efficiently, asking for my input at each important decision point. I enjoyed the process. The bid was reasonable, and included building a mailbox column and repairing loose brick on the trim on the front of my house. He came back one week later, as agreed, to seal the brick. Not just on the mailbox, but also, on the house trim, which had never been done. Glad to recommend Two Friends Masonry, very highly.
