Rio nilo was a great place. My friends Francisco and Alex had a blast dancing with the wonderful ladies Sunday night. Will be back again! #makerionilogreatagain

I go here on dates sometimes
and it’s always gone well. Culture shock if you will!
So bring a girl, or go with a group of friends.

They have bomb margaritas. BOMB! Machine made, but strong!
Margaritas go for $ 3 cash. COOL. Got a round for myself and a date.
Got a second. Gave a ten and the asshole told me FOURTEEN DOLLARS!
Holy shit. No friggen way. I paid, and had my date order drinks
and that same prick didn’t hike the price. Three bucks a pop for her.
This wasn’t the first time.
My friend’s dad was visiting from Germany so we thought we’d take him
to El Rio Nilo on a Sunday night for Drag Night. He wanted tequila.
Four shots for him, my friend, his sister, and myself. $ 20? No.
FIFTY DOLLARS!!! $ 12.50/shot?
Son of a bitch can listen to an order real fine in english.
But once we complained the guy pretends he doesn’t speak english.
Scam artist.
My advice: Pre-​game. Get drunk at the bar on 5^th called Station 51.
Or just buy booze and drink on the train tracks like a real man. Or woman.
Or Human. Iunno. Just don’t get ripped off and take home a tranny lol

I’ve been here two times. First visit was a few years ago because my husband was given free tickets to a private concert. That visit was okay, had fun but I had been to better night clubs. The second visit was very recent with some friends who invited us. At $ 6.00 a beer, I thought it was pricey. My friends and I are in our mid 20’s and the crowd here is for sure older than that. The main band never showed up, so we danced to DJ all night, which truly needs help with his mixes. It was called naco… something. It would really take me several drinks to even think of going back to party here again.

Came here with the bf. I won’t bash on it much cause his cousins frequent this place. They know the people that work there so we got in free but honestly I wouldn’t come in if I had to pay. Choice of drink there for mostly everyone was coronas that come in a bucket. Mainly a sausage fest.
