The deals here are great! Its better than having one Unilocal deal that you only get to use once. They provide different deals almost everyday! Im constantly saving mulla left n right here. Once they even told me that for one cent less i can get two drinks and two sides added to our order. HECK YES ILL TAKE IT! This place is not only worth the price but worth it in flavor. No holding back at this business.
I recommend the deep dish bacon bacon! Soo rich and delicious. With tons of bacon. If you dont like onions make sure you exclude them from this dish. But i have to say they go great with the bacon and comes with three kinds of onions. Thats what I like the most! Yum! Also has Canadian bacon and different cheeses that makes your mouth scream in pleasure. I have ordered it several times and let me tell you, this place is very consistent. A+ in my book.
My husband recommends the cowboy with jalapeños. Dont be alarmed but it definitely adds a little tingle to your mouth. It has tons of olives, cheese, pepperoni etc. Very good. What works for our family is that we can upgrade any large regular pizza to a large deep dish pizza. Yes! So you can get the cowboy… or you can get the… DEEP DISH COWBOY!!! For instance you can get the regular bacon bacon pizza or you can get the… DEEP DISH BACON BACON PIZZA!!!
Come on but seriously its a no brainer. Deep dish is very tasty. Yet just a heads up it does have oil at the bottom of the pan so be careful when your driving home to keep it flat. That way they will cook evenly. Also I picked up a pizza cutter here for cheap and it was a great decision because we use it all the time And its good quality too.
All in all this place has great customer service and is in a convenient location. Right in the heart of gilroy on first street next to Nob Hill Foods. The owner has done something he loves and succeeded. My family and I will be going here for years to come. Thanks for all those family gatherings Papa Murphy’s.

Great service– each time I walk in the door, greeted right away. People working are quick and clean. Usually they have a special– ask or check online. $ 5 favs– large cheese, pepperoni or sausage.
Called in an order tonight. Kelly answered phone, was cheerful and helpful. When I arrived at the store to pick up, items were ready and he threw in something special for my girls.

We received an email coupon for Papa Murphy’s. The coupon clearly said «Offer available online and in-​store». My wife made a 16 mile round trip to buy the Pizza. She was told that the ad was only good for internet orders. After she told me that I made the 16 mile round trip. First they told me tat it was internet only. I pointed out the «and in store». Then they told me that it was «Available at participating locations.» and they participated only in the internet part. I asked him to call the store owner. He said that he was unavailable but I could come back on Monday, another 16 mile round trip. I asked how was I supposed to know what parts they chose to participate in. He finally gave me the $ 5 refund. I usually buy a couple of Pizzas a month. No more! Horrible policy! They should honor their coupons!!!

I love this place! Everyone here is friendly and polite! I love how clean they are and they have great prices!!!:). I was able to customize my own pizza on however I wanted it to be :). The pizza is to die for ! Both pizzas came out great! #1custom order #2 s’more dessert pizza:). Thank you again! And this place is definitely a 5 star!:)

Very friendly staff all of the times I’ve gone. Short wait time for pizza to be ready. The pizzas themselves are well done with plenty of toppings. we tried the Taco Grande pizza which had refried beans as the sauce; made an interesting twist on a regular pizza. Their stuffed Murphy’s Combo pizza is also great choice.

I cannot believe this location only got 3 stars! This is by far THE BEST Papa Murphys location I have ever visited. The owner is present most of the time and is extremely friendly and welcoming. All of the staff is outgoing and enthusiastic about their work. You can tell they are treated well. They still offer $ 10 Tuesday’s despite the struggle with the economy. I try and go other days to support them in full as well. They also have online and mobile app ordering which makes things way more convenient. Pizza is always ready when they say it will be. Please go here and support this branch; you will not be disappointed!

Papa murphys is our go-​to for pizza in Gilroy! Been going here for over 5 years now. We have had nothing but amazing service and yummy, fresh food. And the prices are super inexpensive compared to other (greasy) pizza chains. If fake, fattening dominos or round table is your thing then perhaps you won’t like saving money and calories at papa murphys. Just sayin. Staff always friendly and pizza made in under 10−15min, even when they’re busy. My kids love the mini murphs which they can make themselves! Brilliant! Not sure about the bad reviews here? Honestly what’s so hard about ordering, picking up and baking at home? One reviewer got mad because he came home with the wrong pizza and didn’t check upon leaving. Ummmm there’s clear plastic wrap so you can’t miss it. And mad lady because they don’t take two coupons? Cmon people. Some people make things so much more complicated then life really is! Thanks papa murphys– you guys are great!

Very upset with this store. I called in and ordered two pizzas tonight. I own a business in Gilroy and live in Hollister, so I picked up my pizzas and took them home. I guess I screwed up and did not look at my pizzas before I left, I guess I’m just the kind of person who trusts that people will do their jobs correctly. That’s how I treat my employees… When I got home, 25 mins away, I discovered that I was given one pizza that is totally wrong and is something that I would not eat on a dare… I called in asking if they could simply leave my name at the counter for a credit since they gave me the wrong pizza, but I was told no. I explained that it would take me an hour round trip to bring the pizza back and get the correct pizza. Again I was told no and that I must return this incorrect pizza to get the correct one, so I said I’ll bring it back on Monday because it’s almost 7:30 at night and I’m not driving back and forth. Again I was told «that’s the only thing we can do». Really! It’s a pizza, they can’t make this right? This seems like a management issue that should be addressed. Extremely poor customer service in my opinion and doubtful that I will spend my money there again. Sad because I like the product, but I will not stand for being treated disrespectfully…

This place does not understand costumer service. We’ve been patrons of this Papa Murphy’s from the day it opened and I will never be going back. This is a local business that does not care about their customers, BOTTOM LINE. If I want take and bake pizza I will buy from outside of town or from Pinocchio’s pizza instead.
This afternoon I called in for a Large Pepperoni and a Large Cowboy pizza; I asked the the girl taking my order over the phone explicitly if I could use the coupons for both pizza’s she told me «Yes, just bring them both in.»
When we got to the store we were in a hurry so I sent my sister into the store to pay for the pizza’s. When she came back to me she informed me that the cashier refused to take the second coupon. I went in with her to inquire about the situation; I had to wait awhile while the girl Serena had her back to the front of the store as she was laughing and joking with a male making pizzas. I informed the cashier, Serena, that I was told by the person taking my order over the phone that I could use both coupons. She gave me a round-​about answer saying, «Well we ask customers to bring in both coupons, so we can figure out which would be the best deal.» (This advice doesn’t make logical sense either because they can just tell you over the phone which is the best coupon.) She obviously had not listened to a word I had said and I repeated, «No, when I had talked to the person on the phone I explicitly asked if I could use BOTH coupons, and was told yes.» She then just repeated, «Well, that isn’t the policy.» Then she stared at me blankly for awhile; before bending over to fiddle with something behind the register. It was obvious the customers and transactions were of no concern to her, at this point I went ahead and asked for a manger and she said ‚“I am the manager.“
I stared at her for a moment confused; I then asked her if she had any plans of doing something, and all she said was, «I will make sure she gets talked to.» I honestly have no idea who this «she» is; if it is our order taker or some made up individual. I’m assuming this Serena is the one related to the owners of this establishment; so she obvious won’t be going anywhere. I’m unsure whether she is truly a manager at the store or just masquerading as one; either way it is obvious that she doesn’t have the customer service or problem solving skills to be managing any business.
Local business should be more concerned with keeping local customers instead of driving them away. Either way Pinocchio’s is a local business I will be supporting more often when I want take and bake pizza; better quality food and better quality customer service. Papa Murphy’s chains are a dime a dozen. (Also a company with a 30% 1 star rating says something)

Take ‘n’ Bake ‘n’ Blah!!!
I so wanted to like the pizza… but NOPE, the crust was tasteless and the red sauce was very, very bland.
The toppings were OK, but I wanted pizza-​not salad toppings on tasteless cardboard.
This pizza is on par with the frozen pizza found in the local grocery stores.
As a side note, a woman who appeared to be a shift mgr. or supervisor, berated and chastised employees in front of customers-​very uncomfortable atmosphere.
You get one chance to make a good impression and this pizza didn’t impress.

Decent pizza and the price is obviously an amazing deal. We like to get this when we’re lazy to make food for parties since it’s so much food.

Excellent, friendly service. You guys put together a good pizza, even with a complicated custom order. We’ll be back soon!

Great service and great pizza and the owner is very nice and the helpers are extremely nice it’s the only difference is the workers are not treating the customers right he will tell them so unexpect the customers to be happy with the orders for take and bake pizza his pizzas are excellent and great service

Good pizza and come here often but today they really annoyed me. I ordered a DeLite pizza and the signs say it comes only in Large so that’s what I ordered. As I was ordering and paying I asked if they did Family size and she then admitted they did but neither of the staff could work the cash register to convert it to Family size. They handed back the delta $ and said I had to live with it.
UPDATE: we have a few better pizza’s. Raising to 4 starts from two.

Their chicago style stuffed pizzas are really tasty! They are also very filling so you don’t need to buy more pizza, two pieces of one of those and you’re feeling real good.
I guess the allure of this place is #1 that the prices are reasonable for pizza. I shutter when I see how much a large specialty pizza is with no coupon at other fancy pizza joints. Another bonus would be that you could specialize your pizza before you throw it in the oven if you wanted to add something crazy!
The coupon online if you sign up for their service is nice, and I haven’t been inundated with emails every day from them which is always a risk when signing up for something like that, so bonus points there!
Update: I got a text from them today offering $ 10 any size any pizza, I think this is a Tuesday special because there was no coupon code with it.

The $ 5 large pepperoni Delite pizza is great! Sure, I’ve had better pizza, but I’ve definitely paid more for it.
The store is small, but relatively clean, you can watch the employees make your pizza, and they also sell wood pellets (haha)!
It’s an average place to get average pizza; don’t expect anything more!

being a pizza lover and a 90’s kid i used to go here all the time when hollywood video and game crazy were next store. i went there today with my mother and my husband and… OMG…so many health and safety violations…
just to name a few
none of the staff had hairnets at all
on employee handling the food did not change his gloves once even thou he was fixing his glasses every five seconds
gages are a nono yet 2 of them were wearing them
along with another wearing jewelry
a big no no in food safety
dont get me wrong i love their pizza… i just cringed alot with all those violations

Can’t go wrong with papa Murphy’s. Great prices!

I’m new to Unilocal.
However, I think it’s necessary to tell when there are bad business practices. I know of some good restaurants in Gilroy. The people who own restaurants in Gilroy I believe should be here to serve the community in a fair and reasonable manner.
We, the community, the consumer, the customer, patronize their establishment frequently in the hopes that somehow when we return, the great experience and food we enjoyed the last time will be waiting for us.
Unfortunately, I recently had to learn that the owner/​manager was not only rude and insulting to my wife, but also just displayed terrible customer service.
I was at work when I was informed by my wife that she had been over charged for what she ordered. Apparently the register or card scanner they use will charge 3x the cost and the SCAM is for them to play dumb and finally accept another type of payment. They offered no refund of the taken funds, no credit for the money they ripped off, just poor customer service, and bad business.
They didn’t care about what happened and didn’t care to correct their mistake.
Oh well! That’s one less formerly happy customer for Papa Jerky’s to push around, we won’tbe going back.
With all the identity theft going on, and credit card scams out there I really caution you not to fall for this.
Btw we got our money back from the bank instead.
