This place has a cool selection of items, especially if you love garlic. There are lots of cool hot sauces and rubs and things of the like but NOWAY would I pay $ 29.99 for a thing of garlic cheese seasoning. This place is outrageously overpriced.

I have never met someone so hateful, racist, and ill-mannered than Lynda! After standing in line to pay for my stuff, a group of people literally cut me in lone and not one word of apology was given. Lynda makes the situation even crazier by yelling rudely«they were here first» and when I nicely stated that maybe she should take a better approach by being a little nicer in her communication with customers she said«get used to it». Their garlic is overhyped and overpriced. Their house brand olives is nothing but vinegar and salt, and good luck if you can taste the actual olives. My advice to the owners, don’t push away potential customers with rude staff, especially when your«bread and butter» is GARLIC and you’re situated in the middle of nowhere. If you don’t like interacting with diverse customers from all walks of life, then you are in the wrong business and in the wrong state.

So amazing! They have such wonderful produce here & the staff is so welcoming & friendly. They even have a restaurant here if you’re hungry! We got garlic olives, garlic pickles, dried cherries, green apple hard cider to put caramel on the rim. When the checker heard we love honey sticks, she gave us a few homemade ones for free & we just fell in love. So sweet.

I come here once a year and they are always sold out of their garlic mushrooms. They are always very accommodating and always take our phone number so they can call us when they have more stock. This year year… they had the mushrooms! So we grabbed a whole bunch of bottles. Also, they have a little BBQ place in the back. If your looking for a quick bite. I recommend to try it because the BBQ burger was quite delicious.

Came here on our way home from San Francisco as a pit stop because of their garlic ice cream!!! It’s a bit weird getting here on the freeway. Everything in this area revolves around cherries and garlic it’s amazing! Parking should be easy, they have a parking lot right in front of the store. The garlic ice cream was a big hard to find. It was basically a white freezer and they literally wrote garlic ice cream on a piece of paper. It was odd because it wasn’t near their other ice cream freezers it was just located in a weird corner. There isn’t many staff around, there was probably only one person working when I went and she was pretty old. She didn’t even hear me when I asked about the garlic ice cream, a customer had to tell me. They only had chocolate flavor when I went which was a bummer. The ice cream was really interesting! It tasted like chocolate but had a garlic after taste never thought I’d taste ice cream and garlic together crazy! Which is why I wanted to try it. Definitely stop by this place to try garlic ice cream or any place along the rode that offers garlic ice cream! Never thought I’d make it to garlic world! Glad I stopped by!

My friend and I stopped by here on a suggestion of a friend to try the BBQ. My buddy had the combo plate and I had the tri-tip sandwich with onion and bell peppers. All and all, the food was very good. Not the best tri-tip sandwich I’ve had, but definitely toward the top. I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich. My buddy enjoyed his combo plate as well. The service good. The choices of food was reasonable. The prices weren’t too bad. It was what I would expect to pay. All and all a very good experience. I would definitely stop by and get a tri-tip sandwich again, though the tacos sound very good. 4 star out of 5. Good experience. Good food. Reasonable prices. Didn’t give 5 stars because I felt that experience was just shy of exceptional, but I will definitely be coming back!

Bad Faith, Expired Food Seller — Tourists Beware Watch out for Garlic World. While their options are broad and their products are appealing, they also have a trend of using price stickers to cover-up long-expired goods. We stopped by for a large purchase to take some of our favorites overseas during a foreign deployment. When we opened a large jar of olives, we found them bad. Same with the next jar. Upon scratching off the price sticker, we found the items all more than one year beyond their expiration date. And, all items cleverly had the price stickers strategically placed to cover the expiration date. Hard to believe this is anything but an intentional effort by a tourist trap to pass on losses to one-time customers. I had to dump nearly $ 75 worth of worthless, expired products after shipping them half-way around the world. Garlic World should be ashamed(and inspected).

The tri tip is tender and smoky, not dry at all! The garlic world tri-tip sandwich is basically heavenly juicy meet on incredibly flavorful garlic bread. Ribs were perfectly cooked, also very moist and tender– not too tender though because that’s gross. Just go eat here you won’t regret it forreal. p. s. The tacos are hella spicy

Gilroy = Garlic Garlic World = A cool rest stop to make in Gilroy while traversing the great divide between NorCal and SoCal As a Poly Parent I need to make the Great Trek between NorCal and SoCal via Route 101 pretty often. Gilroy is roughly half way and Garlic World is a great place to make a rest stop and pick up some snacks and drinks to help ensure that I stay calm, focused, fed, and hydrated during my trip. It’s on the north-bound side of the highway and the entry is right on 101 so you need to use caution and your turn signals when entering or exiting the premises. Once safely inside Garlic World you will find: Garlic galore
Snacks and drinks for the road
A clean bathroom(no pic, trust me) Friendly staff While this is not a tourist trap they do survive by offering convenience to travelers and so charge tourist prices. As a side note, you are reminded that garlic causes flatulence in some people and you may want to proscribe the eating of garlic snacks while in a sealed vehicle. Otherwise you may find yourselves in an NGV vehicle. If you already drive an NGV powered vehicle perhaps you could find a way to tap into this free source of bio-gas.
