Been coming to Lake Winni since I was born, but went to Ellacoya State Park for the first time today. We’ve heard from some renters that they always make a stop here so decided to give it a try.
Cost was $ 5 per adult, our 2 year old was free (hooray!). We chose a cooler day to visit and it happened to be a windy day. We got there around 9:45 am. The wind was sipping and it was too cold to go in the water, but we had a great time playing on the beach and laying in the warm sun. There is a pavilion with picnic tables, swings, a slide, a well-​stocked snack shack and real bathrooms.
I will definitely go back here again in the future.

The rangers here are super nice. I did have some bad experiences here the last time we went. Late morning the lot was full. A group of people who were in line in front of us attempted to let other friends cut the line, but were stopped. Once inside, we were alarmed at the amount trash blowing around and loud music. My 2 year old chased a ball into a circle of people. One grown man stared at us threateningly as if we were in his yard or something.
The view, beach and water are great. It has lots of potential. I’d feel better if they had a Police detail there.

Fun place to go with family. My family loves this place, although I do prefer York or Hampton Beach. But not a bad place, and beer and grills are allowed.

Very nice lakeside park with a sandy beach, glorious views and lifeguard with a solid bathroom building. Shaded parking available and an RV park too. NH Park Svc rates.

Have been going here every summer for 3 years and will continue to do so. The water is clean, the people are nice and the whole atmosphere is just so relaxing.

State Park, full hookups, wide spots, some sites with shade trees, others without. Private beach, you can even bring a boat.
This is my kind of place.
