I brought the kids twice after school, Hawaiian shaved ice and thrifty ice cream. You can’t go wrong with thrifty ice cream, and the shaved ice they have plenty of flavors to chose from. I would recommend this place for desert and great prices!

This location has the best staff. Friendly and helpful. We bring our daughter here a few times a week. Our favorite flavors are animal cookie and chocolate mint chip. Highly recommend stopping by if you love Thrifty Ice ream like we do!

I grew up next a water and ice and fell in love with Thrifty. After many years of not having it I found several water and ice stores stores that carried it and my long lost love for chocolate malted crunch was reborn. It’s telling me to put mustard on this review. I don’t know if the people of Unilocal prefer mustard or not. Some people may not like mustard so I must refrain at this time.

Just moved around the area and been going here for 2 weeks and I’m glad to have a good place to go to. Nice and clean business. Its much bigger than other water and ice and has a lot of selection between ice cream, snacks and candy. Great service and friendliness.

YAS, convenient place for an ice cream stop! They have a lot of other treats as well, very kind lady running the shop. There’s so many flavors for shaved ice; this place is neat and well maintained.

The asian woman wasn’t not friendly AT ALL. Was not patient as my 4 kids tried to pick their flavors. One of them picked chocolate chip and it was TERRIBLE. Tasted like it had been in the freezer for YEARS. Was grainy and tasted like the freezer. So disappointing. The store itself seemed dirty and there wasn’t much on the shelves. It also closed at 8, when ive seen other W&I close at 9/​10pm. The only outdoor table was stone and broken in pieces just sitting in a pile.

I honestly go here because it is close to home.
The Thrifty Ice Cream is great, but don’t buy candy here. Every time I have purchased candy from this store it tastes like it is 5 years old. Next time I buy a different kind of candy, it also tastes old.
They have snow cones and a few other drinks that are OK. The people that work here are Asian and are very nice but English is not their strong point.
Bottom line, if you need water & Ice, Ice cream or a snow cone, check it out, if you want anything else, go someplace else
