Ultimate Concrete Coatings

So far not impressed with this company. My husband chose them because of Angie’s list. I really had nothing to do with the selection. I thought the sales guy was kind of smarmy and today they were supposed to be at our house at 7:00am! Husband took off work to be home and at 2:30pm a crew showed up. After having called and complained to the office 3 times! The GM didn’t know why the crew wasn’t there and they can’t call them while they are on the road (no phones while driving, one good thing). WTF!!! This is BS! If this is any indication of what my deck and walk way will look like I am truly scared! Not impressed with the customer service so far. That’s for sure! Review may change once they are finished… AND if they compensate us for this inconvenience.

We had used this company previously to do some decorative concrete work and we loved their work, so we called them back 3 years later to power wash and re-​seal. They quoted the price quite a bit over what they had previously told us it would be but we went ahead and went with them since they had done it the first time. The lady required half down. They did not show up and we had a really hard time getting thru to find out why they were a no show. They finally showed up to power wash but have never came back to finish the job. Through several calls and threats that we were going to report to BBB, they finally came out and finished. When they finally came, they did a great job and the workers were very nice. We like their work but they are hard to pin down.

My garage floor was an absolute mess and so shabby. Ultimate was the first company to return my calls and come out for a free quote. They cleaned up my garage floor and epoxied it very nicely. It looks so much better! I’m so happy with the results! I wish I had done this years ago, instead of when I decided to prep it for sale.

We have had our cool deck replaced 4 times in 11 years. Poor quality installation, poor workmanship and lack of care for our yard was part of the previous installations.
I received bids from 3 companies. For some reason Ultimate was significantly less square footage. Turns out they were right in line with the footage of the company that built the pool. The others were going to charge for area that was not actually decking.
Now for the install. I was very clear on the big mess that the previous company had left (On a side note xxx company did the job in 1 day) and was assured this would not be a problem with Ultimate. When Manny arrived he made it clear they would keep the place and do their best. He also told me that there may be some delays due to the rain but it would take at least 3 days to complete the job. My response was that we are not swimming and want the job to be done right and there is no time constraints.
The first day they removed the old decking… no mess. Rain the next day. The next day the base coat was installed… no mess. Rain for 4 days. The next day the finish coat was installed… looked great. Cool temps and Manny felt that it was better to let it dry more so he brought over a fan. Today the paint was installed. Looked awesome. Then they came back and put on a sealer… really… never told this was even an option. The decking looks AMAZING.
They cleaned up everything and left the place looking great.
Costumer Service… I called the office about 10 times with questions or requests. Only had 1 time that the phone was busy. Every time Shannon was helpful and even called to tell me that it was raining and they would not be back until the following week.
Very pleased and highly recommend. And I will admit I more than particular when it comes to my yard.

We had 5 estimates from companies vetted by Angie’s List and Google Reviews. Ultimate Concrete Coatings had a fair price, worked with us to customize a color and sold us on the durability of their product and their customer satisfaction. We had the deck done in July 2014. There were places that didn’t get or take stain and the pool edges were stamped, but ran, and the breaks that they ground in don’t match up from the horizontal line on the deck to the vertical coming from the pool. So far they have failed to show up for their scheduled appointments on 4 occasions and they do not call to reschedule. It seems they hope you will just go away if they don’t call you back. Those appointment took nearly a dozen calls to make. I thought we were paying for the company service and workmanship, not just the product. I was wrong.

We had our pool deck re-​surfaced by Ultimate and they did a great job. What a dramatic change once their work was completed. The deck looks beautiful and goes well with the pool and yard. Everyone we worked with was professional, courteous and friendly.
