Solare Nail & Spa

While this isn’t the worst nail salon I’ve been to, it’s a very close second.
The chairs are rather uncomfortable. They have a square shaped basin with forces your toes into an unnatural position. Aside from that, when I went in, there was only one person giving pedicures, so the wait was long and the water cold before anyone could get to me.
Simple instructions like «squared», «curved», and «thick» seem to be lost on their staff, so if you want something specific, bring pictures. The massage was mediocre, at best, and I was stabbed and jabbed and left with my feet in pain!
I won’t be coming here again. For the price they charge, you’re better off going elsewhere.

Tech was rough and a little rude. I told her what I want and she flatt out said it would be ugly…

I’m pretty surprised by the negative reviews. My wife and I showed up 8 minutes before they close and they were very friendly. They stayed open for an hour longer than normal hours and the service was outstanding. They did great work and their customer service was over the top.
I don’t know why some others had bad experiences but based on this visit I will for sure be back and will refer others.

Update! After being loyal to this salon for about a year, my loyalty is no more. Unfortunately, I had an appointment at 7pm and the tech was running an hour late but didn’t tell me that upfront. Another lady stepped in to at least remove my gel while I waited but 45 minutes in, I was still waiting and now unable to leave as my polish was already off. Anyone with gel nails knows what I mean! I didn’t leave the salon until 9:15pm without so much as an apology for the delay. Will not return. My time is valuable!

I moved to the Gilbert area 6 months ago and have tried once My Nails Spa but I ended feeling disappointed. Today I stopped by Solare Nail & Spa. I requested Bea based on one of those reviews I read. Bea knows well her job. She is really extraordinary and very friendly. I got the best pedicure ever. I am happy to tell that I know exactly where and with who I go in the future to get done my pedicure. Thank you Bea from Solare Nail & Spa for an excellent job!

Pedicure and manicure … The best ever. My gel lasted over a month in perfect condition. They took there time but didn’t take forever. Very nice and very very clean. This will be my go to spot.

Nice people and a good pedicure but this was, by far, the longest it’s ever taken for a pedicure and to fix one nail. Still waiting for the nail fix and I’ve been here 2 hours!

Very dishonest place. Was told before I got my daughter’s nails done that it would be $ 10 for kids. After they finished, they charged $ 17, and said she was not a kid even though I asked before they did her nails. They only gave her a kid’s manicure for an adult price. They just lost a customer. I don’t appreciate dishonesty.

We had appointment but didn’t matter, still waited over 30 minutes (or longer) before others in our party even got started with their pedis. My pedicure was nice but my daughter and friends soaked for 30 – 50 minutes before being helped.

It’s not the worst place I’ve had my nails done. We asked how long it would be for a pedicure and she said right now. We waited 30 minutes soaking in the water before they got to us. The girls talk a lot to themselves and sometimes get distracted and stop working on your nails. Pretty nails in the end.

Scheduled an appointment for 1 and it didn’t matter. 30 minutes of sitting in a chair with my feet in the water DOES NOT constitute the start of my pedicure. Horrible service. :(

Excellent work!!! I loved Bea. she did an amazing job on my heels. I went to other places and they were very nice but my heels needed more. This place made my feet baby soft. They take a bit longer but definitely getting a lot of quality for your money. Kim was awesome too. Definitely this is where I will be going from now on.

Not pleased. She got the job done, but it took way too long. She was yelling to the others in the shop almost the whole time and came off as very rude even when she wasn’t talking to the others. She would jerk and pull and overall it was not a great experience. Then she left the table and didn’t say anything g about how long or when to pay. Finally just got up and left and had a lady come get the money. Afterwards, my fingers has scabs on the side because she scrabbed my fingers while doing my nails. Overall I was very unpleased.

Tina is AMAZING! She took the time to listen to me and my requests and made my nails amazing!!! I cannot wait to go back

I am on the fence with this salon. The good things are: It was clean, they didn’t rush like most places and the employees were friendly in english as best as they could be. What bugged me: the foot massage was terrible, the lady put my callouses she removed in my water with my feet (ewe) and when I tried to pay the tip, she complained it wasn’t in cash. Lastly, the cost was high, $ 65 for two pedi’s. So, depending on what matters to you, this place is either spot on or sucks!

Terrible gel manicure! Not the worse I’ve had but probably the second worse. Won’t go back to this place ever again.

It was my first time there and with a coupon, a mini pedi (no massage) eyebrow wax and a set of white tips came to $ 80. The polish is bubbly and they missed some spots on the toes.
My 13 year old daughter wanted a manicure and they put on gel nails (without asking) and charged her $ 40 (she paid separate to my bill with her b day money). No interaction from the staff as they only spoke amongst each other.

First time I went was great, they are open late on Sundays and Saturdays. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure. I was impressed, three weeks went by and I decided I needed to get my gel manicure redone, so I went back. I selected my color and well they gave me the wrong color which I was fine with not like they understand me if I said something. So I went to pay and they told me it was 30.00 this time because they had to take off the old gel. I have never had that happen to me before, to pay to get the gel off. especially when the guy who did it did my gel the previous time. They never said they would charge to take it off, which is tacky and they should inform you because I would of taken it off myself. I will never go back there. Also the man who did my nails was asking me questions like do you have kids and I said no, he said oh you like sexy time a lot. Who says that.

The best place to get your nails and toes done! They do the best pedicure’s out of any other nail salon! Brandon does my nails and he is so talented! I will never go to any other salon other than Solare. Thanks for doing such great work!

There are many better places out there to get a manicure and pedicure. I come here for the convenience as its right next to my gym. First, if I get a pedicure half of my nail gets painted and when you tell the tech «can you please get the entire nail» she says my toes are too small. My nieces have had better pedicures than me. Second, I normally make an appt since most of the time there is a wait. Everytime I come in a the techs are with someone and dont even care that you have an appt. I wouldnt mind if I was only waiting 5 – 10 after appt time but 20 – 30 minutes is ridiculous and they dont care or bother to say sorry. Pretty sad and ridiculous!
