I love walking along side this canal, it puts me in such a good mood. Even though it’s wedged in between houses I feel like I can get my nature fix here. The canal offers a home to surprisingly large fish, some meander along alone and some swim together in a school. This morning I saw a mama duck with her 5 little ducklings swimming right behind her. There are plenty of other birds, bugs, plants and bunnies to be seen out there. The path is paved so you can ride a bike but there is also dirt so you can opt to jog on softer ground, I’ve seen people horseback riding and fishing. Such a small area offers a lot of enjoyment.
