Qpolish Nails & Spa

Just left from getting a gel manicure and a pedicure. I was happy that I decided to give this place a try.
It didn’t stink like most nail places, very clean, pedicure chairs are nice. I liked that I got my manicure done at this bar top they have, I am short and having my manicure done on the bar was alot more comfortable for my back and legs .
Bob did my manicure, he did a great job, got the sides painted and made sure my nails were evenly polished. Took about 45 minutes
I am unsure of the lady who did my pedicure, she did a great job as well. I got the number 1. FYI it was over an hour so if you are in a hurry I wouldn’t go with this option .
For the price, I was very comfortable with the price and I definitely got what I paid for. I will be going back.

Amazing people and wonderful work. They really take their time and care for you. They showed my 3year old amazing patience and care, it really made me happy! I’ll be coming back here from now on. You can’t go wrong with Qpolish!

Purchased a groupon for a gel manicure and paraffin wax for $ 18. I was a bit in a rush so I told them to hold off on the paraffin wax and asked if I could save it for next time and they said yes. Let’s hope they remember and honor it. They had a very clean environment and other than the music, it was relatively quiet. Which I like because you can come and relax. It’s not the typical noisy salon where the nail technicians spend half their time talking to each other and you’re wondering if they’re either talking about you and/​or concentrating on the work they’re doing.
They have a huge selection of gel colors to choose from and it’s laid out in a cute floral display so that you can easily see all the options. It’s a lot better than other places where you have to shift through dozens of samples in a messy basket.
I had a lady prep me at the beginning to remove the gel polish I already had from a previous manicure. She was then replaced by Bob once he was freed up from another service. Bob was very friendly and worked fast and efficiently when I told him I was in a rush. He cleaned up my nails and paid close attention to make sure he got all the random cuticles and didn’t miss any polished spots.
Once my manicure was done they even gave me a coupon to return for a hot stone pedicure.
Although it’s a bit out of my way, I definitely can see myself coming back here!

Well they are extremely nice here and do a great job. My only disappointment was that we were asked to come back in 45 minutes since they were busy. That was fine except when we came back, we had to wait much longer. While we were waiting, 3 other ppl who signed the clip board after us were helped before us. That part was annoying since I didn’t feel great.

I’m new to the area & was in a desperate need for a fill! Bob did an awesome job on my nails. He repaired one & re-​shaped all of my nails! He took his time which is a plus since I always feel rushed at the nail salon.
The guy at the front desk was also extremely polite & got things going from the start.
This is will be my new spot!

Company Christmas party came up sooner than I expected and I called last minute on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015 to see about the Groupon for either a Gel Manicure with Paraffin Wrap or a Hot Stone Spa Pedicure at QPolish Nails and Spa. ViVi the manager is a darling lady who runs this family business. I wanted both the manicure and pedicure and needed my eyebrows plucked since I cannot have them waxed. She told me to come right in. I was thrilled. I arrived 30 minues later and ViVi plucked my eye brows and then dyed them so they matched my hair. From there I was escorted to a very soft, massage chair that had plastic covered foot baths so I know they were totally clean. The entire business looked very clean and smelled good. There were no chemical odors or incense which is a problem for some of us who deal with chemo. They added something to the foot bath and I relaxed while ViVi’s extremely talented mother began my pedicure. It was done with at least 4 different stages of cleaning, cutting, scrubbing and massaging. Then came the hot rock massage. Lovely, warm, comforting and done with excellence. I have a serious illness, hadn’t had a pedicure in a year and she was able to do every aspect of the pedicure without pain. It was the best I have ever had and my nails had no scraggled edges and looked rounded and well groomed. Meanwhile Vicki came over and worked on my hands. We hit it off and started laughing until she nearly had to stop due to me shaking from laughter. After she cleaned and cut my nails and cuticles without pain or discomfort, she polished them with an expertise only an artist would have. Then came the hot wax and massage. My skin and nails have never looked nicer. ViVi came back and checked with me often and offered me water or coffee. The shop itself is very tranquil with calming colors, beautiful décor and two large screen TVs with the sound off. The staff is made up of soft spoken, gentle people who want to please you, and they want to make sure you have a pleasant and happy experience. It is a family business and the entire staff seems to be very talented at what they do. I can highly recommend them. The location sits behind the Discount Tire company on Ray and Val Vista. Take time for yourself this holiday… this is one place that will not disappoint! FOLLOW UP: I was complimented on my nails numerous times and was thrilled with the length of time they lasted. When I returned to get the gel removed, they did an excellent job cleaning it off and polishing my nails back to their normal texture and style. One thing I noticed is they all had their fingernails artistically painted with a variety of Christmas shapes, scenes and even reindeer. When I asked it they had stickers they used especially to make the reindeer, they said each nail was hand painted. It was wonderfully done and the reindeer which were white gel sat on glitter deep red that was outstanding. I plan to do that next year.

I am always greeted with a friendly smile. They remember my face. Great selection of gel polish, clean, and professional. They do not rush through your service you choose, always offer you a water. I enjoy that they always have the food channel and HGTV on in the back ground.

I was torn on this place. I’ve been 3 times and thought they were good. I really like Bob because he gives great massages when he gives manicures or pedicures.
The problem is they make big deals out of little things that definitely give me the impression they don’t care about their clients.
One example is they have a punch card for each visit, after 5 visits you get $ 10 off. Oddly enough, they won’t let you combine cards but don’t tell you that until they give you a new card. Last trip I started to pull out my punch card when they said «it’s ok» and gave me another one. This trip they tried to hand me another one and I said «wait, I have 2 already». They let me combine today’s with one card but only after pushing them to do so. I can’t combine the third card because they would «have to throw it away». What? Each card had one stamp. The card isn’t dented, scratched or bent so why would they have to throw it away? I pointed this out but they said its against the owners policy.
If the cost of a stupid business card is worth less than my business, why would I continue coming here?
Also they advertise a $ 15 mini mani/​pedi. The price is for each, not combined. Ok fine. Then she proceeds to go on and on about not getting a massage with $ 15 pedi, only with the $ 30. Fine w/​me since I was in a hurry and didn’t have time for a massage. Her response was to get a little huffy because I didn’t buy a $ 30 pedicure. Seriously? Then don’t advertise something you don’t want to sell.
Since the initial post, 3 nails broke off. They fixed them without a hassle but I don’t want to keep coming back to have nails fixed.
To put the cream on this debacle sundae, while I’m getting my third nail fixed I hear her asking people to write 5 star reviews because of my review. Here’s a crazy concept, how about giving such good service that people WANT, of their own accord, to write you a good review and not because you made them feel sorry for you.
I wont be back. Unfortunate, because I like Bob but I want to at least FEEL my patronage matters. Here, I don’t.

I love this place! Staff is very friendly and professional. Vivi was awesome when I had a cast on my arm, very willing to work around it to do my nails. Pedicures are awesome. I suggested the Pearl Spa pedicure if you have the time. 5 star rating is well deserved!
