I was drawn in by the $ 15 sign out on the road — figured I’d give it a try. How bad could it be? Well, it was, and wasn’t. The pedicure was average, medium hot water, shorter time than I’m used to. Everything else was standard, clean hygiene, massaging chairs, magazines(no celebrity ones, FYI). However, the AC needed work — it was definitely warm in there but one got used to it. I was the only person in there. I had the pedicure done by an older lady(there was one guy in there, very absorbed in a book) who appeared to be the only tech. Anyway, the one not-so-good was the fact that she seemed to really want to talk. A lot. I can’t blame her, it must be boring but when she started in on the questions and fixated on why I didn’t have kids … well it got very uncomfortable. She kept pushing and didn’t seem to get any of my verbal cues(ok actual requests) to drop it. Not a big deal but I would think twice about going back. Just good to know beforehand. However, she did bring me a unasked for bottle of water afterwards and was very solicitous so it wasn’t all bad. Plus my nails look good.
