Desert Car Care of Gilbert

I went in to Desert Car Care Center of Gilbert because our car had several things wrong with it. The service manager, Keith, told me he would run tests to see what was wrong and assured me we would get to the root of the problems. When he called to give me the run down of everything he’d found… I was floored to know that he had done additional research to find out that my car had a recall on it and that he called the dealership to see if they had the recall part. He went above and beyond on that!
Additionally, when I told him I had to prioritize which issues I would fix first and that I could not afford to fix everything at once, he did not pressure me… instead he educated me on which parts needed replacing first and why. I appreciate his knowledge and patience. The front office staff, Blanca, is also very friendly and extremely helpful.
They also have a good small waiting room with a TV, couch & WiFi + after hours car drop off.

The Gilbert location is under new ownership and is no longer NARPRO affiliated. Taking my business to the Chandler & Dobson location going forward. Things have changed here for the worse.

My go to mechanic and oil change place for the past 3 years. After many years of ridiculous car care it’s amazing when you come in contact with true professionals. They have always worked with me. The fact that they are NARPRO certified is a huge deal. A quick tip is to call ahead and schedule your oil change. Has worked like a charm for me.

I have come here 3 times (unfortuanely). Chris has taken care of me big time. I had a catalytic converter go out and I need to have it put in immediately for it was my bday month and you need to replace tags around then. They also have 15% off on Unilocal check-​in? Awesome. They tell you things that need changed and don’t force much on you. Of course they are trying to make money and will say you need something even if you could wait a bit for it. But really I was super impressed when they said they were booked solid and he couldn’t get me in. Then a few hours later he called and said he’d squeeze me in. They seem awesome and really nice. Prices are like all shops. If you can do it yourself… do it. But if you can’t they seem like the right people for the job.

i failed my emissions test and had gone past the service station everyday on my way to work so decided to stop in. since i had already replaced my gas cap, they reset my computer for free. when i failed again, i brought it back, they tested it and told me i needed an actual dealer gas cap. they did an oil change for less than $ 20 while i was already there and were super helpful and honest. i passed, got my tags, and will be returning for all of my car needs!
