I have been on the lookout for a new salon for a while, and I can now confidently say that my hair has found a new [organic] home! A few things to like about this place:
–The products are organic; which is a nice alternative from the regular salons, because you can feel the difference!
–The customer service is top-​notch! Even had the owner of the salon check in on my coloring session a few times, to make sure everything was going right.
–Service is quick, and the staff are upfront with the consultation. I got my hair done with Shawna, and before doing anything, she addressed everything she’d be doing, what it would cost me, and what she recommends. What’s even better is that she never trailed off from what she told me from the start. You can expect honesty and good quality from start to finish.
The price is a little high. Cost me $ 140 for dye and a deep conditioner, but I suppose that’s the reality when you are getting good service and good products. Can’t cut corners when it comes to quality — especially for my hair!

I’m 61 and my hair was almost to my waist when I had this salon give me a perm. Thanks to their incompetence and the lack of ethics my hair was completely fried. You can see my post of 2 years ago on Facebook. I guess he needs the money because I got no apology and no refund from John Cunningham, the owner or the ditz that did my hair. She was directly under his supervision so apparently neither one of them can tell when someones hair is being over processed. I was promised that they wouldn’t «fry» my hair… guess they lied. Now 2 years later and after having to have it all cut off, I have about 6 inches of healthy hair. Grows slow when you old :(So thanks to the owner of the salon (who I blame the most because he was supervising her) I will have another bunch of holidays looking stupid with short hair that I hate. It is important to note that until now I have had long hair for about 55 years so shame on you John Cunningham.

My hair has never felt and looked so healthy! The product they use is bar none and the staff is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and friendly. I stopped by to see Shawna per a friends recommendation and she did not disappoint! I’ll be coming to Arizona to get my hair done from now on!

After 3 years, I needed to find a salon closer to home and one that better suited my availability. Today was my first apt with Shawna at Cunningham Salon Organic. The atmosphere is very casual and inviting. Clean, modern, open space that suits the collaborative, team environment. While the owner did not do my hair, he is present, and acts as an invited consultant to his staff. Shawna clearly enjoys her work, works efficiently and appropriately did not feel compelled to entertain me during our time together — she allowed me to just relax and did not force a conversation (which I genuinely appreciated!). This is my first appointment with Shawna and the team at Cunningham Salon Organic. I saw many things that I liked — a great partial highlight/​lowlight and cut — as well as, the collaborative team environment the owner is fostering. I will be back during the busy holiday season (book early because ideal apt times are already filling up)!

Thanks to Shawna, I have never been more pleased with my hair! She does a fantastic job, and is dedicated to making sure you leave happy. You will not be disappointed! Organic coloring is definitely the way to go. My hair has never felt as healthy as it does now! I have received so many compliments on my hair color, I can’t imagine going anywhere else. The salon atmosphere is positive and friendly, and the staff is knowledgeable in their work.

I have been to Megan a few times and have LOVED the cut and color. She is a true artist. I have not been able to find someone in years that can see what my hair is like (cowlicks, bulk, texture.) and customize a cut for me! My last visit I wanted a drastic short cut and John (owner) consulted with me as well on the best cut and he even assisted with the European Razor cut, which I loved! In the past a razor has made my hair frizzy but I am so please with this technique and how the cut turned out. Thankful for the time spent on showing me how to style too. I had a fantastic experience. Megan cut my sons hair (his first hair cut). She did great. Every movement he made, she made it too. She also cut my 4 year olds hair. She is awesome. I would recommend her to anyone. :)

I came to Cunningham Salon Organic on a Tuesday afternoon for a walk-​in, and was promptly taken care of by Megan. Megan listened carefully to my request and gave me an amazing haircut. I appreciated that all the products she used were organic, my hair had never felt so soft! In addition to receiving an amazing haircut and style, it was affordable – $ 45. I will continue to come here for my future haircuts. Make sure when you make an appointment to ask for Megan!

Organic Hair Coloring — no way! Changing and trusting someone new to take care of my hair is very stressful. I’ve made the right decision by giving this salon a chance and I’ve never been more pleased and happy with Shawna’s service — in fact, everyone in this salon is super friendly, knows their «art» and it shows. My hair has never been cut and colored better! This place is AWESOME!

Love! LOVE this hair salon — clean, and most importantly the folks that work there are very knowledgeable in their craft. Everyone is friendly amd there is absolutely no sales push to make you walk away with more than what you came there for.

Stopped in at Cunningham Salon Organic on a whim and walked out very, very pleased. I was so impressed with the quality of products that were available and level of service offered. The owners are new in town and they just opened in August. The salon has a clean, minimalist but soothing ambiance. Very clean and very friendly. Shampoo, hair mask, cut, dry, and style all for $ 45 make this the new must-​try salon in town. I had the pleasure of having Megan cut my hair and look forward to having her tame the do in the future. Thanks so much, Megan! Love the work!

This is an awesome salon! Great products, friendly people, and very clean! Well worth the 20 min drive :-)
