Worked here in high school/college and still go back at least once a week for lunch. The pastries are unparalleled. Catering is always a win. As for lunch? I dare you to try any sandwich and not be pleased. Of course, always with the pesto pasta :)

Suzanne and her staff are great. Food is consistent and reasonably priced for a casual dining spot.

Hands down, Susanne’s has the best pastries and cakes in town. Their must tries are their scones and strawberry shortcake. AH-MAZING. Every year for my birthday, I request their Strawberry Shortcake… it’s pricey… around $ 40 for a double layer 8″ round, but sooooo worth it. Go in to the shop and just give a slice a try and get a scone while you’re there, too.

Love this little place! Friendly staff, amazing berry cobbler, and giant cappuccino with foam coming out of my ears. I fell in love! A must stop for locals and tourists. Best pastries for hungry kids too. These guys know how to bake. :) I will be back for lunch soon.

The food is amazing. Cakes, pastries, sandwiches, salads… Truly a mouthwatering gift. Only wish the hours were more, the space larger and that it was open 7 days a week!

This is one of Gig Harbor’s best spots for lunch or coffee and dessert. Everything is made from scratch daily, including the bread. They serve the best sandwiches, pasta salad, and homemade biscotti. They even made me a beautiful AND delicious wedding cake 9 years ago, and I don’t even like cake. The strawberry and whipped cream cake is divine and not cloyingly sweet. It tastes like real food. I can’t say enough good things about this place — the owners are wonderful people. Highly recommend!

Took a break while walking thru Gig Harbor and got a piece of the coconut cake. Moist cake, creamy filling and sweet coconut on top.

Love this place! I used to go here for lunch when I was single and rented a room at a bed & breakfast in Olalla. And now that I have moved back to Kitsap County, I am taking my kids there. There was not a darn thing wrong with that cinnamon roll – I did not get it heated up, and it still melted in my mouth. Love the sandwiches. My kids like the chocolate chip cookies. We also like the muffins. Hoping to continue more fun outings for breakfast or lunch with my kids in the future!

Stopped in on Mothers Day for some food and was pleasantly surprised. Had the special, Turkey, Bree cheese with apples panini(don’t remember what it is called) It was freakin delicious! Bread was crispy but not hard and didn’t cut up the roof of my mouth which is a plus. My husband got the Rueben which was also really good. I will definitely be visiting again. Thanks!

Just relocated to the Pacific Northwest from San Francisco and Suzanne’s is a place we’ve been to on several occasions. I’ve had the Reuben the last two times and it has definitely hit the spot for me. My husband had the ham pesto panini and he enjoyed it despite being a little light on the ham. Both sandwiches came with a pesto pasta that we devoured quickly. We both had lemonade which was just right — enough lemon zing without too much sugar. We ended our meal with a shared slice of cocoanut cake — I was surprised by how light it was with a whipped cream frosting. They were also nice enough to let our very docile dog sit with us on the patio. Suzanne’s is a place to return to again.

When I got married recently, instead of a fancy wedding cake, we had Suzanne’s whipped-cream-and-strawberry cake. Our guests are still raving about it! Hmmm… I may have call and see if they have slices available tonight. Simply my favorite cake in the world. I’ve never had a bad meal there, and I regularly used to stop in the mornings for their hot-out-of-the-oven white chocolate/apricot scones.

Great place to stop while on a nice stroll along the harbor. My husband and I got lattes which were decent and a coconut cake which was to die for. Great prices and a family warm environment, highly recommend!

This is a great place to stop into after a stroll along Gig Harbors waterfront. Great casual fool. Sandwiches, fresh homemade soups, cookies, pesto pasta(one of my personal favorites)!;) Something for the whole family… Then after lunch you can indulge in the very BEST homemade, whip frosted, strawberry filled, White Layer Cake… EVER! Go ahead. See for yourself!

My mother recently celebrated her 100th Birthday. Of course, we asked Suzanne to make the cake. We wanted a carrot/white cream cheese filling and icing. It was gorgeous. The cake simply read Norma, and 100 years with pink and red roses surrounding it. It was very subtle and beautiful. After our party, we shared the remaining cake with the residents of Sound Vista Village where she lives. Everyone raved about the cake. Thank you, Suzanne! You rock the Harbor! Gretchen O’

A quiet local delicatessen and patisserie which boasts of phenomenal treats for refined pallets and a bay view. They have the best wedding cake I’ve ever tasted. So delighted to see this bakery is still around after they created the best wedding cake for my wedding 7 years ago. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is homey.

Had the Ruben sandwich special. Excellent! Lean and tender, on house made toasted wheat. I’ve been disappointed with this sandwich at other places more often than not. Bit this is one I’ll come back for.

We stopped in for breakfast. The staff and kind and helpful. We ordered coffee and Eggs Benedict. Eggs-B is our favorite breakfast. When we find a place that’s good, we get very excited. The potatoes were’s our favorite as we would have preferred hash browns instead of o’brien. The coffee was average. However the eggs bene was so good. If the price was a bit lower, hubby would have ordered another. This café is right on the water over looking Gig Harbor inlet. The space is small and cozy. We will be back.

This is an adorable little place in the downtown area of Gig Harbor. It’s a small spot, with views of the water and an amazing deck(if it wasn’t raining). I got the special — panini with turkey, brie, apple slices and caramelized onions! Mmmm! My friend got the soup of the day — cauliflower and loved it! Staff was cute and young and very friendly. The food came out very quick — which was great since we had very little time. I’d love to try more of the options in the case and on the menu! Ah — next time!
