This restaurant in particular… 1) Went there for lunch today around 12:45 pm. As usual, almost everything is out and«will have to be prepared. They sure must lose a lot of business with this excuse. 2) Food is pretty much NEVER very warm unless it just HAS been freshly made! 3) Food selections/recipes are so loaded with crap sauce and salt! 4) They try to load you up on cheap carbs and then give you two pieces of any meat! 5) ALWAYSSHORTSTAFFED! 6) Only one worker cooking food and one trying to BOTH dish up AND ring up – ALLWITHOUTANYGLOVESONWHATSOEVEREITHERWAY! Running back and forth, taking food out to people, line waiting to the door. IT’S NOTGONNABELONGBEFORESOMEONEGETS E-COLI FROMTHISPLACEWITHWORKERSBOTHSERVINGANDRINGINGUPWITHNOGLOVESON!

This is sadly one of the worst managed Panda Express locations I’ve experienced. I have been in this restaurant several times for lunch and they always seem to have a hard time keeping the items available. Today as I stood in line — seeing that again many items were not ready — I watched who I assume was the manager walk out the door(12:30 — lunch break?). Despite the promises of the Corporate Panda Express organization this location in Gig Harbor sadly falls short on delivering.

Everything seemed fine staff was friendly and all the meat seemed hot and fresh. The rice and noodles on the other hand sucked. Dry and tasted so old! The portions seem small so i got to eat alot of rice and noodles which sucked. I dont get why panda is popular it all taste old nothing is fresh. Won’t be coming back ever. Fast food not really cheap and taste like crap. Wish we had a pei Wei or pic up Stix here. They both make the food when you order it and takes like 5 mins. I can wait 5 mins for good food.

Been to this location twice, won’t go back ever. I don’t really completely understand the allure of Panda Express in total. To me it all seems like reheated takeout, nothing fresh. Any time I have ever visited a Panda they are always out of almost everything and running around like madmen, this location is no exception. You’re better off running into the Costco across the street and picking up some delicious Chinese food there for dinner, chances are with their portions you won’t run out.

Having know a person who has worked here in the past I recommend avoiding it entirely. They reheat day old chicken and the manager enforces speed and smaller portions to keep costs low — he has even stated himself and I quote«I don’t give a shit about customer satisfaction» — this manager obviously has no idea who’s paying his paycheck. Don’t go here unless you want to risk food poisoning and are seeking bad service.

Food quality — horrible. Customer service– none Portion size– might as well be ready to only eat rice. I am harsh on this review because I was completely dissatisfied. When I showed him my orange chicken, he said I could only get one scoop. So I pretty much ate a ton of rice with a small scoop of orange chicken. For 2 single entrees and one drink, paying 15 dollars, I will not be returning to panda.

Amazing! I went here with my family, and the cashier gave me my food in 20 seconds. Plus, the food was evenly cooked and tasted delicious. I came here yesterday night and I am most definitely coming here again.

Went in at around 11:30 ordered a kids meal and a Family Meal(3 entrees &2 Sides) I had to wait 15 minutes for them to cook all 3 of the items I wanted! Normally it wouldn’t bother me to have to wait, but that shit should have been already filled since it was lunchtime and they should be prepared!

Awful! Stopped by for takeout at 5pm. All of the steam trays were nearly empty, and what they contained barely resembled food. All of my selections were cold, the fried rice was nasty dry and so overly salted it was inedible. Minimal selections available. Have been to several other Panda’s around the country, this was the worst of the bunch. I feel as though I have food poisoning – Don’t eat here!

Good food and fast and fresh… Most of the time. A couple times it’ll hit you like a ton of bricks acouple hours later with massive GI pain. Other than that, not bad.

We’ve come here a few times right at the opening time and were turned away. Apparently the open time is only a suggestion. The one time we successfully made it in the food was meh. Greasy and tough meat. Pass on this chain.

I stopped by here on a Thursday night at 7pm. They were almost out of everything on the line except orange chicken. I managed to get the last of the chow mein, and a double order of orange chicken since it was the only item that looked appealing and not. Normally, I love panda, but this one just didn’t do it for me. The portions were smaller than what I am used to, and the staff didn’t seem to want to be there.

Been a loyal customer for awhile, and been generally pleased, but after an incident where I witnessed an employee return to work from outside(having handled refuse) without washing his hands and proceed to start cooking, and *then* had a manager not take any action when I let her know, I’m done. Food safety isn’t something to be taken lightly.

When it comes to wanting a quick meal Panda Express is one place my wife and I find ourselves quite frequently. While there can sometimes be a bit of a wit for fresh fare, we have, for the most part lucked out and usually don’t have to wait at all. This particular Panda Express has a friendly staff and is in a good locale for us as we traverse from Bremerton to Tacoma quite frequently. So when we’re on the road and have a hankering for quick Asian food we usually wind up right here.

I am a frequent customer of Panda Express in Hawaii, so I decided to visit this Panda Express because my mother recently moved to the area. I was so disappointed with the service here. First of all there was a small selection of food. The food that was available was unappealing and looked very old. Given that it was three in the afternoon, possibly a slow time, I was able to understand. What I wasn’t too pleased with was the service. The woman serving us was absolutely rude. She was impatient and had a terrible attitude. When a family member I was with was trying to decide what he wanted she got upset and impatient with him and said«what do you want!?» Definitely not the service I’m used to at Panda Express. On top of that she seemed very irritated that we requested food that wasn’t already made. When we asked to get the fresher food instead of the old one she said«I already gave you some» and got very angry. In addition there was a child sitting in the dining area(assuming it was her son) Whom she took into the back area and began to yell at, which we could hear from the dining area. This is the worst service I have ever received from Panda’s and I will not be visiting this location ever again. One star, because no stars isn’t an option.

Yum. Maybe not the most authentic but they have a nice selection of tried and true American versions of Chinese food. I usually go at the end of the lunch rush, so they are low on most items, but they always make new batches. Occasionally that means a few extra minutes waiting for the freshly prepared dishes, but better than them fishing out the few pieces in a gallon of sauce. The staff is usually polite enough if not necessarily friendly. The plates are reasonably priced and this location does the job when the Chinese craving hits.

There is a definite lack of Chinese fast food places around GH or maybe I just have not located them quite yet. In the mean time. Panda Express will do. They give out portions that would fill the great wall. Sine they are a chain restaurant they have the ever changing menu items. If you want to try something that you are curious about you can just ask and they will give you a sample. Chain restaurants may not be for everyone, but until i find myself a nice Chinese restaurant that sells crab-meat rangoon, PE is my first stop.

So I hadn’t eaten Panda Express since I was in college and when I saw there was one in Gig Harbor where I was stying for the week, I decided to make a little trip. My frustration with this Panda Express is the freshness of the food. Both times I was here, within a week, the pickings were slim at best. Now this isn’t a problem if you don’t mind waiting, but it’s frustrating to wait for that fresh of food. Now I get that it’s a delicate balance between making the food too early or making it fresh, but this location needs to work on doing that better. I hate having to make the choice of ordering the last bits of fried rice that look like they’ve been sitting forever or the fresh chow mein, then having them bring out fresh fried rice while I’m waiting for something else. Sadly, though, my issue with this place probably wont’ stop me from coming back again and again when in Gig Harbor and in need of some quick food.
