This is a great gym. The coaches are great and push you to get the most out of each workout. After just 3 weeks I feel stronger and motivated to keep going back.

I have been struggling to come up with a way to explain BETTER. But the name fits because I am constantly doing things better and felling better all the time. I was a member of another gym in the Harbor for 2yrs and it is only now that I have switched to BETTER, that I have come to realize what a waste of time, money, and effort it was for those 2yrs at the other gym. Better is fitness with a purpose… there will be no Treadmills or Elliptical machines designed to exhaust you. Instead you will work on strength, form, and if done correctly, you will get the needed cardio along the way. At BETTER I am learning how to exercise properly without injury in less time, and with less pain, and then applying those lessons to everyday life. Unlike other gyms that won’t invest in the education of their trainers, and trainers that don’t make enough to invest in themselves. The trainers at BETTER are some of the most qualified and highly trained in the country… let alone Gig Harbor! All I can say is get Better, you won’t be sorry.

I’ve been a life long athlete and career military. Injury was part of the sacrifice I made to be the best I could. At least that was what I thought. Now I’m stronger, faster, and older and no longer struggle with aches, pains and injuries. I never realized how important it is to find a competent coach and how few«professionals» really know the correct lifting procedures. I wish I had this training when I started but I’m glad I have it now. I am better!

I have been an avid runner all my life and ran in races all the way up to 100 miles. I have been a part of some highly notable programs, but I have NEVER experienced the strength I have now. I can honestly say that I am blessed to be a member of this gym and would highly recommend this gym to someone wanting to take their strength training to another level. A lot of people do crossfit, but the gains I have made in just 60 days is absolutely amazing. Another point I have to make is not only are you getting quality workouts with notable gains, but you have a trainer that knows and comprehends everyone improves in their own way.
