did a dental night guard for me. my dentist in austin wanted $ 600 plus. dr gres did it for $ 300 plus. very nice and kind to boot.

Dr Gres is the absolute bomb. Very affordable. Removed some gross coffee stains, re-​did an old filling, got a cleaning and x rays, all for about $ 200, without insurance. A great value compared to last dentist I checked out, which was Onion Creek Dentistry. Those rip offs charged me over $ 200 for a consultation appointment and x-​rays. I repeat… they charged me over $ 200, (that was with insurance), and did not so much as clean a tooth. Also the experience was uncomfortably «salesy». Thats coming from a salesman. I have never experienced a dentist appointment where I felt I was being «sold» until now. Then they tried to tell me the standard cleaning wasnt going to be good enough and that I needed a deep cleaning. In addition he told me I had a total of 4 cavities that needed filling. They gave me an estimate for $ 1000 for the cleaning plus 4 cavities. Dr. Gres actually told me that 3 of those 4 were no where near bad enough to need filling. So to recap… Onion Creek… $ 200 for x rays and no cleaning, tried to get another $ 1000 out of me. Dr Gres $ 200 — great cleaning, xrays, great work on the filling. I felt like Dr Gres has never taken advantage of a patient in his life. Very trustworthy… isnt that an important characteristic of a dentist?
