The Mission – Tacos for the South

Meh this place is cute, but it’s just kinda trendy. The food isn’t bad but def not worth the prices.

By far the best tacos in town! The atmosphere is great, the décor is adorable. I tend to go every Wednesday after work to kick back and have a Cheer Jack with some friends. The bar manager is extremely attentive and always makes my experience enjoyable. The little blonde waitress is also great!

Awesome drinks made with fresh fruit. Food is also fresh and on point. Great vegan options. Amazing service. Definitely coming here again

Recently moved to the area from NYC and this was my second time eating here… the food is high quality and a great atmosphere. Looks like they’re building an outdoor patio which is a huge plus. They serve up a nice variety or beer, wine and make a killer margarita. Staff was very prompt and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Great food. Good margaritas. Had $ 2 Red Oak when I was here. Prices might be a little high for food. Chips and guacamole are solid. Good service and good atmosphere.

I have eaten at The Mission twice now, and had different tacos both times. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and responsive, the drink menu has a nice variety and is extremely well priced, and the atmosphere is enjoyable. This place is a gem in Alamance County, and I look forward to supporting it in the future.

Good baja mex! The service is excellent! I’m a Texan in North Carolina and I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good Mexican food! It’s not Tex mex but it’s the best I’ve had in this state so far!

This was their first day open for lunch and while the quality of the food was pretty good, I feel like the price structure is way off. I had the Mahi Mahi Taco and I liked the flavor of the fish, the pineapple was a bit harder than I’d have liked and it just didn’t feel like «man this $ 4.50 taco was totally worth it» Everything costs extra, so things like beans and rice cost $ 2 each and you have to pay for chips and salsa, and I get it… the chips and salsa are fresh and home made but even then some of the chips were kind of tough like they might have been from last night. I’m also spoiled in that we have a lot of Mexican run places like Burrito Loco that give you some awesome unique authentic flavor without the hefty pricetag.
The atmosphere is cool, I hear the owner made most of the furniture himself. Honestly if I could walk in there get 2 fish tacos, rice and beans for a better price It might be on my list of places I keep going back to, I’d like to try their different flavors but at that price I’m just not that into it.

Excellent service and even better food. The tacos are amazing! We tried an assortment of tacos and everyone of them was delicious.

The owner did an awesome job or redoing the inside of the restaurant. The food was awesome and the drinks were great too. Best Tacos around!

If you’re going to be in the Burlington area this is a MUST to check out. Excellent food, incredible décor, super friendly staff. Our overall experience was great. If you live in the Burlington area consider yourself lucky!

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to. The food is very good, it’s a wide variety of different things to choose from. The owner is very nice and you won’t want to miss coming to this place for the drinks they have to offer. Good beer and wine selections! They are brand new and could be my new go too restaurant cheers!
