WINEEVERYDAY!!! Came in here at 1 oclock with my friends– dont judge– and had a BLAST. It was $ 5 tastings which included I think 5 – 7 glasses and the staff was SO sweet. If someone in my group was trying something they thought another one of us would like they just poured it, no matter if it was on our list or not. They also gave us a cocktail at the end that was GOOD and STRONG. Very personable and a great selection of local wines. Even took home a few– definitely recommend the Ghent Blush

A small local winery. Must lookout for the driveway as it is easy to miss and the GPS informed us it was on the opposite side of the road. There were some wines that were great and the rest were ok. My boyfriend and I are more geared toward red wines, but because of the area and region, the reds are more light in color. However, the River’s Edge and Chelois were great reds that we even bought a few bottles. The reason I gave only 3 stars is because the host briefly described each of the wines in short descriptons. I guess this would be a place to drop by if you are around the area.

A friend and I received a free tasting pass for this winery after visiting Brookview Station Winery in Castleton(see ). Thankfully there are signs on both side of Rt. 23 because if you aren’t looking, you will miss the driveway! When we first pulled up, we were taken back because the tasting room/store is basically a house with a deck and patio chairs. That being said, we enjoyed ourselves for the short period of time we were there. We each chose 7 wines to sample and our host was very knowledgeable. She gave great descriptions of the wines and I thoroughly enjoyed the Rieslings. Hudson Chatham Winery is a very small facility and what it lacks in character, it definitely makes up for in sophistication and dedication to its craft. Another great way to support the local beverage makers of NY. Thanks to our wine expert for giving great recommendations for things to do and see in Hudson!

What a gem in Columbia County! We went for the wine tasting and movie and both were delightful. We can’t wait to return for both. I love Merlot and I really enjoyed the glass I had. I am not a wine expert, I just really liked this Merlot. My husband had the Seyval Blanc and was impressed with it. It was so nice to chat with Dominique and learn about the winery. We had a lovely evening. Next time we will stock up on wine, balsamic vinegar and mustard.

Its wine tasting time! And what an excellent time it was. Our hosts were extremely helpful and made the experience way more interesting. We stayed for 3 hours-that’s how much we didn’t want to leave. I had a hard time deciding which one was my favorite because honestly, everything was great! I think I liked the Baco Noir and the Empire Reserve the most. We even bought a bottle and sat outside on lawn chairs sipping our wine and admiring the gorgeous view of the Catskills. I would come everyday and do it again and again if I didn’t have a real job and responsibilities. Definitely make a stop if you can-it’s one of the best wineries in the Hudson Valley and my new favorite place to go on a lazy Saturday.

A great little winery! They have an excellent Baco Noir and a port-like dessert wine. We sited on a weekend afternoon and they were quite busy. Seems they could use a tasting room twice the size of their current one. Tasting room also sells a variety of wine related novelties.

I went here with a few friends this weekend and had a great time. The people were extremely friendly and gave tons of great info about the wines. The wines and the tasting were great(see Colleen’s description of the tasting!). And I love the souvenir glass! My favorite wine was the Seyval Blanc but the Sangria was amazing as well! They are also very dog friendly which makes me love this place that much more.
