Beautiful links course with enough water hazards and sand traps to seriously challenge our game. The course is well kept especially the greens. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a nice way to spend one of our Gettysburg vacation days.

Cannot speak to the golf course as I don’t play, however it certainly appears beautiful and well-maintained from what I’ve seen of it. I’ve enjoyed Sunday brunch here several times — very good — and have attended wedding receptions and special events over the years as well. What I find most problematic, hence 4 stars versus 5 stars, is the layout of the main room for large parties. It seems disconnected and cramped. As much as I find the décor and grounds to be beautiful, I would never consider having an event here due to the space issues. Their prices are high but you’re paying for an exclusive club atmosphere and I think the food and ambiance support the costs. Just be careful if you go when it’s raining or wet outside; the red clay sticks to everything and stains!

Beautiful course, sandwiched between half million dollar homes with literally zero space. Both in the yards and on the course. That said, we didn’t score well as the course was set, the greens were recently aerated, and the course is difficult as-is. However, the price is right, the maintenance is good, and they had some beautiful holes. Staff is all very pleasant, and we had a good burger on the outside deck after our round. It was cart path only today as well, but the course layout makes it very manageable. Will definitely be back to play here again.

This is such a beautiful course and its a shame that I feel compelled to write a review and give such a poor rating. However, yesterday was one of the most frustrating golf experiences I’ve had and a course like this should not be having these issues. First, we had two tee times for 2:30pm. Apparently, the course was a bit overbooked and we were told that they were running about 10 minutes behind on tee times. Not a problem. However, the first of our two groups did not end up teeing off until 3:30pm. While this was frustrating and unacceptable in its own right, we would have been able to finish our round with a good pace that is to be expected at a course such as this. Again, not the case. The group in front of us consisted of a father and son, who appeared to understand golf. However, they were paired with a guy that worked in the kitchen at the restaurant and a woman he was with. I knew this because I saw him buy a golf shirt in the pro shop before the round and he was wearing his kitchen attire. Anyway, the two of them could barely even hit the ball off of the ground. There were periods where we were waiting on a tee box for 15 minutes. Slow play is understandable to an extent on such a beautiful day but we didn’t see one marshal out on the course speeding them along. This is unacceptable. Our second group finished the 9th hole around 6:15pm, 2hr and 45 mins after teeing off. There was no way we could have finished the round before dark considering the slow group ahead of us went on to number 10. We ultimately called it a day. I will be very hesitant about ever driving an hour from Harrisburg to play the Links again. Its a shame.

Great golf course. Very challenging from the tips. Greens were tough to read but putted excellently. The pro shop and bar restaurant could be a big bigger and offer a but more selection. The only thing that really needs work is the sand traps. It’s like a mix if clay and sand. Stains anything white. Staff were very friendly and their ladies are all adorable Definitely a must play course if in this area

Played here during a St. Patrick’s Day scramble(which was a lot of fun). Definitely a great golf course. Wonderful layout, lots of different types of holes, and tough! First off a great scramble course if you’re planning a tournament. But playing on a regular day from the tips and this course is tough to score on if you are not hitting the ball straight(lots of water and forced carries). Saw the rates and it’s pretty cheap to play too. Clubhouse is small but nice and the service was wonderful. So why only four stars? Two things holding this place back, the practice areas are very far apart(they drive you up to the range and back), and they are pretty small. There are multiple putting greens and a slightly hidden chipping green. But the putting greens are small and the range is tiny. I actually don’t know how they pick up the drives that go further than 225 yards because they end up in the woods. The other thing holding it back is just the location. Yes it’s near Gettysburg but just not close enough for most folks I would guess. Overall I had a fantastic experience. This is definitely a place I’ll try to visit about once a year to play a tough, fun track.

Spent a lot of time here during wedding planning. Had our reception with these guys. Suzanne is amazing and the rest of the staff(event/food/beverage/golf) were super friendly, accommodating, professional, and flexible. I needed gluten free options, as well as vegetarian ones for the menu, and they helped me work it out with food and beer! They are also reasonably priced and flexible with adding and taking away decorative and«extra» options. It’s important to know everything is taken care of on that special day!

Course is fantastic. It is very challenging with water on every hole except 10 on the back. The par 5 seventh hole is one of the most intimidating holes I’ve ever played. I only gave this course 4 stars because there is no 4.5 rating, and the only thing that is not good about this course is the price. You have to find deals online for rounds less than $ 50, and for someone who plays a few days per week, a $ 50 round is too much for me to pay on a regular basis. Staff is friendly and practice facilities are top notch.

I drive from Baltimore at least once a week to play this course. It is always in great shape and the staff is very friendly. I play as a single and the pace is fantastic. This is a challenging course with many forced carries, but I enjoy the challenge. There are some homes around the course, but the architecture is unique and it doesn’t distract from the experience. If you are playing in the Baltimore/Washington area, you have to put this course on your short list.

So many things besides the layout of a golf course make for a good round. The service in the clubhouse, the amenities of the course, and the condition of the course. Even in November, this place had all of the above. The layout is downright phenomenal. There are holes through the woods, some in open meadows, plenty of water and several holes cased in rock walls. The club pro set me up with the cart and gave me some tips on course management before I went out. While the course wet, it was in tip top shape. They had perks like knobs on the 150 marker telling you the pin position and yardage markers every 25 yards. The grill at the turn was great too — 5 bucks for a huge dog and a 20 oz bottle of coke. The pro kept asking me how I liked the course and every time I liked it more and more. Tough back 9, but very enjoyable. This is my new favorite course
