It’s 7:50 and I came up for dinner as I was walking up. The guy came up switched the sign to close… I will not be back. I usually bring a large group up here atleast once a month but never agian…

Just had lunch at Woodside deli with my daughter and it was excellent. Service was great too. Had a Reuben and my daughter had one of the specials a pastrami Rachel along with a kids Mac and cheese for the little one. Generous portions of well prepared food were delivered in short order. Highly recommend.

Went there on Monday. Ordered a Cobb Salad. Waitress put down dressing bowl on table and slopped it all over. Never bothered to clean it. Gave us silverware with the napkin half rolled and half not!
Chicken had been cooked hours before and heated to put on my salad; it was chewy and dry, dry, dry. Served as long slices on top of melted cheese. The egg was not chopped up, it was sliced in half, with a disgusting black ring around the yolk. The cheese was melted and glued on to the chicken. There were cherry tomatoes on the plate. I always thought that a cobb salad had everything chopped up.
The restaurant has become shabby too. The booth seats were covered with some slippery stretchy polyester fabric. Different colors in all the booths.
When I was asked how everything was, I told them that the chicken was dry. The guy said that sometimes they make mistakes. No make ups.
NEVER GOING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN… NEITHER SHOULD YOU.

This place has the best homemade comfort food that I’ve ever had. I always leave feeling full and with a comfortable feeling. Each server has been great! Their house espresso special with caramel is a must try! Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious!

Not impressed. I’ve always heard great things about this place for breakfast but I have ate here twice and didn’t find it to be that good. It’s definitely better than IHOP but didn’t live up to the hype. Maybe I’ll give it another try as there really aren’t too many breakfast places in the area. My food is always cold and lacks flavor.

Hands down, my favorite restaurant in the area and maybe the whole DMV. It’s like home and the food, especially the sandwiches and breakfast, is amazing. I come here at least twice a week and get the same waitress, Ruth, who is always so kind and gives good recommendations. I love it here.

Salt, salt & more SALT! I’ve ended up in here several times for various reasons in the last few years, and each time left with my tongue tingling from the overly salted food. Even one member of my party who typically adds salt to everything agreed the food was too salty. If I’m ever here again, I’ll take my friend’s advice and stick with the pancakes from the breakfast menu.
Beyond that, the staff is quite nice. The atmosphere is interesting, but the worn out booth seats were not comfortable.

This place seems very consistent as far as their service and food! I was in the other day with my younger brother. He ordered the Triple-​Decker Reuban and I had the Triple Decker Tuna Melt. He really enjoyed his Reuban! And I really enjoyed the Tuna Melt!
Today Jane & I split the «Cyrano De Bergerac» (which is also one of my favorite movies). The young lady who served us suggested the sauerkraut instead of the coleslaw. Wow! And their coffee! Oh yes! We had their Mocha!
Their Chili is also great, and has a nice warm «kick» to it. Just enough «heat» to make my forehead have a bit of sweat!
I can hardly wait to experience their Breakfast menu! The man at the table next to us was having Grits! Something I can’t have short of making it myself around here.

I’m a huge fan of Woodside Deli. Everything I’ve ever ordered taste fantastic. The Lord Byran sandwich has to be one of my all time favorites, paired with French fries and honey mustard. Mike is a fantastic server, very personable. I highly recommend requesting him.
The only reason I give them a 4* and not a 5* is because they could benefit greatly from a deep clean. If you sit in a booth, you can see caked on dust on all the picture frames, and dirty baseboards.

Solid Jewish deli.
Matzo ball soup featured big fluffy matzo balls and a huge portion.
Triple decker club had fresh carved turkey, corned beef, chopped liver plus coleslaw and Russian dressing in rye= perfection=huge portion
Took home a babka from the bakery section– no comparison to some of the ones in philly, but a tasty treat the next morning with coffee.
Will return. Probably soon.

Short review:
Waitstaff is prompt, but food can take a while to be served. That said, it’s totally worth the wait. Everything is tasty and well seasoned. I recommend getting the homefries a little extra done.

I visit this deli at least two to three times a month to get their tuna salad sandwich on rye bread. I’m extremely picky about tuna salad and this is one of a very few places where I will get it outside of my house. It is very very tasty and they don’t put any filler in it, just tuna salad and mayonnaise with some salt and pepper probably. I had the opportunity to meet the owner today and he was extremely friendly. Having my family from New York, finding a good deli in Maryland is difficult. This place hits the spot! I highly recommend it for anyone who lives in Germantown or close enough to visit.

I always enjoy my visits to Woodside Deli. Its one of my favorite breakfast stops. This is the only place and only time that I eat scrapple. It’s cooked perfectly here. Try it. The staff is friendly and because its relatively a small place you get to know the staff and they know you. The food is good, service is quick and well worth the visit.
The sandwiches are great The Reuben is my favorite and the desserts… oh the desserts. I love love love the chocolate cake.

I love the idea of diner food but as I have become more health-​conscious I have noticed how unhealthy diner food is. Woodside Deli sounds great in theory but their food isn’t that healthy and doesn’t really make you feel good. I’ve tried the pancakes and different sandwiches. It’s just ok.
The service is great, however!

Awesome food, great service, manager goes out of his way to make you happy, mocha frappuccino is amazing, burgers and omelettes are on-​point
Prices are reasonable, and this place holds a special place in my heart by serving breakfast all day
Also, trivia is held on Wednesdays and it is super fun

It’s always a treat to come to the Deli. The servers are most kind, the manager greets us each time we visit and the restaurant feels so welcoming.

There are two types of turkey sausage offered as well as turkey bacon.
It’s much better than I hop and of the times we have visited we have experienced minimal wait, if any.
