The Shisha Lounge

My friend and I were bored at home and wanted to go out on a Sunday at 12:30am instead of sleeping like normal people do.
Unilocal suggested this Shisha lounge and said it was open late, (3am).
I was disappointed that they didn’t sell alcohol because then I would not have taken an über, instead I would have driven there. I tried calling ahead but nobody answered probably because they couldn’t hear over the DJ spinning. The DJ played really good music and the atmosphere was good and chill. Very pretty place, I was surprised that it looked just like the pictures on Unilocal.I didn’t think it was expensive so that was a plus!
Will go back.

Great hookah bar for MoCo. Unfortunately the county won’t let any of them serve food/​drinks with hookah so it pushes to DC or Frederick. But the atmosphere is chill and the guys are always good with making a good hookah mix. Leave it to them!

I would not send anyone to this place, outside is always dirty, people are vomiting, there is fighting. Not a good environment for anyone to go to. No security. Trash is everywhere all the time outside. Will never Go !!!

This is my new love!
This place has a very chill environment and they do allow outside food/​beverages (considering they have none — not cool). Music selection was nice. The staff was friendly and had in depth knowledge on hookah. Would definitely go again!
P. S. Only reason for 4 is bc they have no SNACKS or Drinks!

Love this place! We came here for 4^th of July and had a really nice time. It was a very chill environment. When we got there, it was pretty much empty. I’m sure everyone was out enjoying fireworks or something. We got a table fairly quickly. The server was über helpful. He didn’t even fuss when we decided not to go with the specialty hose and asked him to change it back. Best part about this place… it’s affordable AND it’s so close to my house.
I hear it’s a big party atmosphere on the weekends, so I’m looking forward to coming back then.

First place I came too when I came back from New York was this lounge, and it was amazing. The vibe, the music, the hookah was all amazing. Dalla made the best mix I ever smoked and it was exactly what I was looking for. It is called «wildflower». Every time I come back from New York is this hookah lounge. Ask for dalla! ¹⁰⁄₁₀

After an awesome July 4^th with the girls we decided to end our night here. Being shisha lovers we wanted to try something new so we had the host mix us up something special. It was really good. He added this special hose that had an ice cube dispenser in it. It was really good but not worth the extra money so we had them return it. The ambiance was good and the music was mello. It’s a chill after hours spot and definitely worth a return visit. Everytime I go to the gym I want to stop in instead. The only thing is that I wish they had a bar. That would be awesome!

I would give it a ZERO star rating but unfortunately Unilocal does not allow that feature YET. Terrible service, underage drinking (I’ve seen these «kids» (from my high school).

Relaxing spot during the week to hang out and chill, do your school work, listen to music or just smoke a good hookah. Very friendly crowd as well as employees and if your looking for a good time during the weekends Friday and Saturday live Dj

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. It was rasonably priced, the hookah is well packed, the music is on point, and the atmosphere is comfortable while providing good vibes. The belly dancer on Saturday is also a nice touch. The service is a bit slow but the rest more than makes up for it. Will definitely be coming back and will hope to have Dominic as my server again.

Great experience. The staff was very accommodating. We wanted to watch Playoff Hockey and they nicely turned it on the huge projector and turned on the sound so we could listen to the broadcast.

The place is very nice inside but I think the age limit should be raised to at least 21 in over after a certain time. Also I believe they should get better security who search people thoroughly before entering. Went there on may 2, 2015 and the owner was very rude to me and my friends who I told to come because I had been there the week before and thought the place was nice. I also believe if the owner is going to charge patrons to enter he should make sure he collects the money at the door don’t let them sit down first. Their should also be some type of pricing list available so you could be clear about what exactly your paying for. The other guys who work there were very nice but based on the owners attitude me and my girlfriends decided to leave and never will be returning. If this business wants to survive in Germantown they better tighten up

The crowd was relaxed and unpretentious. The owner was friendly and helpful. Our hookah was smooth, smokey, and lasted for a good long while. The highlight was the DJ. The mix was on it!

Good hookah & so close to where I live so can’t complain. I don’t understand why people hate on the place. It’s a business and they can pick their prices. Also, why would you rate this place low only because they don’t provide drinks… Go to a bar you alcoholic… Sheesh.

friendly staff, nice looking place and hookah are decent but little over priced. I have smoked at some of best hookah lounges in nyc so i didn’t really find hookah here out of the ordinary. Good music but the thing i didn’t like was the most was that there were too many teenagers, it wasn’t really my type of vibe. i giving this place 3 star only i been they twice.

We’re moving to the neighborhood on Saturday. After a final walk-​through of our house, we decided to take a quick ride through the neighborhood before heading home. We pulled into a non-​descript shopping center and to our surprise, tucked in a little corner next to the gym, was a simple neon sign that read, «Shisha».
A hookah bar right up the street from us?! I love my new neighborhood already.
We stepped into the quiet and cozy café and were greeted by a cheerful and charming hostess that invited us to make ourselves comfortable wherever we liked. She offered us drinks and told us that we were welcome to grab food from any of the nearby restaurants since they don’t sell any. All the other hookah bars I’ve been to either don’t sell (and don’t allow) food, or you have to order from the limited menu they offer. Since hookah bars are often small and staffed by a few people, I’ve always had reservations about eating at a place that barely has enough room in the back for the shisha, much less for sanitary food prep. I like being able to eat what I want, smoke what I want, and not have to worry about a run-​in with e-​coli in the process. Big points for that!
Our hostess answered all of our questions and offered some really great recommendations. We took her advice on the grapefruit and mint blend with grenadine (pomegranate). It was smooth, refreshing and delightful. Different than anything I’ve had before. She told us she was «obsessed» with that flavor. I could totally see why.
The night of our visit was also the umpteenth anniversary of the Notorious B.I.G.‘s death. The café was live streaming a broadcast of Hot 97’s Biggie tribute mix. They played ALL his old hits and it took me back to junior high/​high school! Loved it! They played some newer rap songs later in the evening… a little too hood for me, but the college kids in there seemed to be feelin it. *shrug*
The café itself is dim, clean, comfy and spacious. Everyone was doing their own thing, but the vibe still remained mellow. It’s definitely the kind of place you could hang at for hours by yourself or with friends. I saw about a dozen or so board games in there, and a group of guys beside us were playing cards. There are also 6 flat screen TVs in there: The channel that is on in front of you is also the channel playing on the TV above your head. This allows you to watch whatever you’re watching with an unimpeded view and without straining to hear. I also saw a projector, some turntables and a set of congas, so I can only imagine how it goes down in here on the weekends!
The staff was hanging out among the patrons, so at first it was kinda hard to tell who was who, but they made their rounds often, brought fresh coals without being asked and checked on everyone regularly to make sure we didn’t need anything.
Great atmosphere and great service… No doubt this is the best hookah bar I’ve ever been to. Any place that has me hanging out until midnight on a Monday like I don’t have to take my ass to work in the morning is alright with me!

Hands down the best hookah bar in the area. Having smoked at hookah bars in Vegas, NY, philly, DC, this hookah is clean, smooth and the atmosphere is very chill. Nice décor and the owner takes pride in providing great service.

This place deserves a zero they have the dumbest incoherent workers, they tried to charge me and my friends $ 40 for two hookahs when I can go someone better and pay $ 16 for one, I immediately left and came to elite hookah in Gaithersburg, with 10 times better service

Great spot The guy who works there was really cool … The dj kept playing old songs wish he played newer songs more hip hop. Cool ! I be back I never knew they made new hookah
