Let me preface this with the fact that while I was in High School I worked in my neighbors flower shops during the busiest holidays, i.e. Mothers Day and Valentines Day. I understand how busy it can get. Now, I do not know why they decided to work with 1800flowers, and I do not know what kind of communication they have with them about the orders, but I happen to know the difference between a gerbera daisy and a carnation. Yes, there is a huge difference especially to a woman who’s favorite flower is a gerbera daisy and whose least favorite flower is a carnation. So when my wife received the wrong flowers mixed in with her roses for Valentines Day, I was a bit upset. Now, luckily for me, my wife knows that I listen to her and know what she likes and what she doesn’t, but some wife or girlfriends may not have that same confidence in their significant other. Therefore, a mistake like this could cause a bit of an issue. Now, ladies, let me ask you, would you want a second bouquet delivered to expound on the fact that the first one was not correct? I find that a bit ridiculous and wasteful. Now, while this is not a review of 1800Flowers, whom I highly suggest you avoid at all cost, this is a review of the company that sent the wrong flowers and then afterword questioned why I would be disappointed in the product. I will give them 2 stars for one reason and one reason only, the flowers were fairly fresh and I am blaming a lot of this on 1800flowers and not heaping the full responsibility on The English Garden. Oh, and the handwriting on the card was barely legible. They may want to consider getting someone with MUCH better handwriting to fill out the cards.
