Super super service. Decent enough food. Great place if you love the old time super club. Even smells like it. Just don’t order a few kiddy cocktails if you aren’t ready to spend heavily.

Ordered prime rib. Really disappointed, tasted gamey and wasn’t seasoned well. Also got the French onion soup with it and that too disappointed it tasted like drippings from the prime rib. The atmosphere and staff were great thats why I gave it 3 stars vs. 1 or 2.

Over priced for mediocre food. Customers average age was around 80, and looked like they had been coming there forever because that was the only place to go 20 years ago. Less than impressed with food and service for sure. Apparently the owners have a travel agency also, which made sense with the uncomfortable sales pitch midway through our meal. No thank you. I almost felt like I was at a time share meeting.

If not for Unilocal I may never have gone to this place. Can’t believe I have never heard of this place more noticed it. With only few reviews and pretty much no pictures or website I was skeptical as I we tired through the suburbs of Germantown . The restaurant has ample parking. The bar area is pretty large and the travel theme is pretty. Unique. Friend staff and I was pleasantly surprised by the white linen tables. We got seating at a elevated area in the restaurant which I preferred over the other seating areas. We say next to a intriguing wine wall !! Ordered chicken strips –kids meal Walleye fish fry which came with seasoned fries — fries was awesome. Clam chowder was sooooo so good I ordered the steak something from the lighter fair menu. I was a bit surprised that it ended up being like a version of meatloaf which was not what I was expecting. But since it was delicious I have no complaints Wine list seemed pretty good too. I had the house Cabernet which was decent. I took the liberty of adding pictures to do some justice for this restaurant:)

We’ve been going to Nardo’s for 10 years because the food is consistently good. Fish fry is excellent(although I prefer creamy cole slaw), ribs are a specialty(meat falls off the bone every time), entrée cobb salad is to die for. Specials every night. Little things count: homemade soups, warm sourdough bread with all meals, terrific salad dressings, substantial portion sizes. And don’t forget: a wonderful waitstaff.

Went there last night with a party of 12. Most of us had fish fries that were DELISH. They even had bluegill and walleye. I had spaghetti and meatballs that was tasty but not worth $ 18. Our server David was amazing he noticed everytime someone needed a beverage. The soup and salads and warm bread were also delicious. The crowd is an older crowd but who cares. This seriously is probably the best restaurant in a 20 mile radius.

Here is a place you can feel great about coming to! Why? Because they take care of all the details that other places overlook. The place is immaculate, the service is spot on, the food is very good, and the prices are appropriate. You can spend your money with some national chain, but it is better spent on a place that takes pride in what they do, and there is a tremendous amount of pride shining through in this little place, just off the beaten path.

Nardo’s is not exactly easy to get to but the local residents know that the journey is worth the reward at the end! If you’re headed north on US41 – 45, it’s right there, maybe a football field away from the freeway. But to get there? Well, Goldendale Road isn’t a frontage road and there’s no convenient exit. More on that in a little bit. There has been a popular restaurant at this location for decades. Nardo’s has been there several years, a successful variation of the old Wisconsin supper club model. With a name like Passport Inn, you might guess that the theme is international and you would be right. Shadow boxes celebrate several interesting destinations, including a Russian military uniform. Nardo’s offers a simple, but diverse menu with daily specials. The menu offers some standard dinner entrees and during colder months, a special selection of «comfort food» that one might traditionally see in a supper club. On Wednesday nights, during football season, Nardo’s offers a special«Lambeau Leap» menu that includes a drawing for an invitation to a football party. Wines are a specialty here(be sure to check out the east wall in the little alcove at the end of the dining room.) They also offer some interesting beers. On a recent Wednesday evening, we ordered a regular entrée, tenderloin tips over egg noodles, that included a large garden salad. The meal was a well sized portion. From the Lambeau Leap menu, I ordered a prime rib sandwich with melted cheese and mild horseradish sauce on a large roll. It was a nice sandwich and far more that I could eat in one sitting. One entrée, one sandwich, a beer and a glass of wine came to about $ 45.00. And they didn’t pick my ticket. :( Now, since I’ll be going back again, it’s only fair to tell you how to get there: If you’re headed north on US-41/45 and you see Nardo’s, take the next exit, Holy Hill Road. Turn right(east) then turn right on Goldendale Road and follow it to the restaurant. If you’re coming from the south on US-41/45 or if you can remember to do so, exit at Lannon Road. Go east on Lannon Road and turn left on Maple Road(at the Kwik Trip.) Turn left on Mequon Road(the 4-way stop) then turn right on County Y(Goldendale Road) to the restaurant. Nardo’s is worth the effort! EDITEDTOADD: I checked the obituaries this morning and my name still isn’t in there.

Adorable little random Germantown gem. As a post card freak, I loved the travel theme. It’s a sweet little family café. Nice wine list. Reasonable priced. We were in for lunch, had a club and a huge pile of haystacks. Darn it… I love me a good haystack. These were perfect, not too greasy. Bringing the haystack game for sure. The people are really sweet. We were the youngest in the joint by about 30 years, it sure beats the large chain options in that area!

Below average food. I think most of their customers are dead, and nobody’s told them yet. I look at the other reviews, and I’m guessing they’re posted by employees. I know the tips posted about wine and such is made by the owner.

High quality food and good service. The prime rub lunch special is ridiculous. My friend got it. It was about 12 – 14 oz of awesome prime tub on a piece of bread. Way more than advertised. I had the chicken with ham cheese and hollandaise. Not bad, either. I had the French onion soup, too. Perfect for a cold day. Salad was meh. Highly recommend going to this place.

When you first walk in the place looks kind of like a bar, but it opens up in the back to a nice looking restaurant. What I like about that is that if we want to go have a quick drink or a bar experience and eat at the bar we can. But if we want to have a nice restaurant experience the back opens up and the décor is really nice. The service was great and the food was AMAZING. Fresh warm sourdough bread with whipped butter, the house salad was really good, and the french onion soup was outstanding. I substituted mozzarella cheese with the french onion soup which was a great choice. I had a 16oz prime rib which was the Monday special and it was superb. It came with au jus, fresh brown buttered brussel sprouts, homemade mashed potatoes that tasted like thanksgiving dinner with a mushroom gravy… also homemade. I’ve been on a mission to find the best prime rib in the country and this rivals my favorites… top five for sure. My wife had a pasta carbonara which was also homemade. The wines were great and overall everything was very well priced. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. If I have friends visit me here, I will be taking them here.

If it wasn’t for Unilocal we would have been dining at a much less exciting spot for lunch. Nardo’s is adorable though and oozing with the travel theme upon entering. The perfect time to visit is when it’s miserable out and you’re looking for a beacon of light and the mere hint of a vacation. Nardo’s will soothe your travel bug with postcards and travel memorabilia galore. The staff is very friendly(gotta love the WI hospitality) and with a fairly extensive menu from salads and sandwiches to fish and fried chicken, there’s a little something for most every diner.

Went here for a business meeting. The place is hard to find and my GPS had me out in some farmer’s field so had to call for directions. Staff was friendly and service good. Four others from our group had to call for directions. I had the pecan crusted chicken and it was tender, juicy and large. I would go there again if in the area.

This restaurant is a bit deceiving at first. It looks from the outside to be a diner, and then once you get inside it is another restaurant you didn’t expect. They have linen table cloths and napkins and the servers look the part as well. Don’t be worried though, Jeans are acceptable as well are kids. Lots of neat travel related items throughout, but tastefully done. As for food, it all seems to be good. I have had taco’s to steaks here and they all are great, but the steaks are fantastic! My wife loves the prime rib as well as the fish fry here, and I love the NY Strip they offer. Kids meals are also good and served up on a plate the shape of a row boat. I also recommend the chocolate cake for dessert; rich but well worth it! I have yet to figure out the business of the restaurant though. Fridays always seem packed for dinner, but Saturdays are hit and miss. If I know I am going though I always get a reservation.

Casual dining restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices. They have a lower room available for events hosting up to 60 guests. It is a bit hard to find when driving to it, so check their web page for a map:
