Any liquor store that consistently has sales is alright with me! The sales have inspired me to venture out and try a few different wines and liquors, and have been pleased with each of my selections. There are also occasional tastings here. This store always have what I’m looking for and the prices are just right. Don’t be deceived by the size: they carry a wide selection of wine and liquor(as well as a limited selection of unchilled beer in the front of the store) and you have a good chance of finding what you need here. The staff is ok… I wouldn’t call them friendly, but they are helpful and they try to best to get you out of there quickly. The store charge a little much for the mini bottles of booze(which I like to carry with me when I fly), but other than that, this is a really great liquor store.

I just read a review about this place that I could literally cut and paste here. I had the same experience. Walked up to the door at 8:57 and the gentleman RAN to the door to lock it on me. He didn’t say a word. Not even hey sorry we are closed. Absolutely the rudest thing you can do. It’s not like people are coming to shop for a car. It’s beverages. Less than 5 min transaction. OR be a gentleman and say«I am sorry we are closed». This store is in my neighborhood. I will not be returning. I wonder if the owner is aware this is how the business is being run. Sad.

They used to be my favorite liquor store because all employees have been so nice… until tonight. It was 8:58pm and I was running to the door so I could get in and grab my usual 1800clear and the lady was locking the out door, looked up saw me running so she ran to the entrance and locked the door! They close at 9pm yet it hadnt hit 9 but the worst was she saw me running(I just got out work in the same shopping center) and ran to lock me out then ignored me when I knocked. I work retail and can appreciate trying to leave on time, but at my work if I ever did that to a customer I would be written up(I would never think to do that) Its wrong as a decent human being to do that and then ignore the person. Ill be back tomm to talk to the lady and ask her if she thinks that was rude or acceptable to do.

One of the best liquor stores in mont county prices are decent. Hours are decent because it’s in Germantown. Gives time for people to go on the weekend because it closes at 10. If you want beer I don’t recommend you to go to this store since they carry«liquor«that strong stuff. So go to the beer wine for the beer fans . I like this store by the Walmart.

You’ve really gotta hand it to MoCo’s liquor stores. They’re well-stocked, extremely well priced, and have sales all the time on a variety of different things. As somebody who grew up but now lives outside of Montgomery County, I usually wait to get liquor here when I come back in the neighborhood. The difference in price is pretty significant. Service is always good too!

Ive been going to my local liquor store and I couldnt make it there, and today, I went here for the first time. So Im looking for the popular brands of Spirits and the nice clerk told me to try this french brand of vodka and I was like mmm okay because Ciroc was just too much and they didnt have my flavor, They have an excellent selection of wines, and champaygne but no so much with hard liquors like brandies, rums and baileys. However I must agree that their beers suck, I love my German beers and my ales and they were lacking there.

This is the best liquor stores I have ever been in. That may not be saying as much as it could be though because all the liquor stores I have been to are in VA(state run), DC(small), or Montgomery County Maryland(County run). However, if this is how Montgomery county runs their liquor stores I am completely fine with it. This place has a huge selection of hard alcohol and wine and is constantly running great specials on popular items such as Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, and Captain Morgan(and lots of other clear liquors that I don’t pay attention to). I live in DC and this place is consistently 20−30% cheaper than by where I live. The only downside is this place doesn’t have a great beer selection, but hey it is a liquor store and there are ton of other options for beer in the area. The one downside is they don’t accept vertical Maryland IDs and occasionally will not accept vertical IDs period, but I have been going there for almost a year now and the most they have said is «we won’t accept this(Vertical VAID) next time,» but it is something to be aware of.
