Very clean little hotel. Came here not only to stay but also for a training session and the staff were super helpful in both my roles. The meeting room was well maintained. Although it was the middle of summer, we were there for a cold and rainy weekend — and the staff were happy to accommodate our request that the pre-set temperature be adjusted. The breakfast service was well-stocked with a variety of tasty foods as well as many healthy options. The coffee was coffee and the tea selection was generous and varied. I would have given 5 stars if I hadn’t noticed a lingering room freshener odour when I arrived home and unpacked. Even then, I might have give 5 stars, but I didn’t sit right down to write my review. It’s now almost 2 weeks later and I’m sorting through notes from the training — and they STILL smell of the room freshener. I didn’t notice this whilst in the hotel, but that it lingers this long sends up a red flag. So I’d say if you have chemical sensitivities you might want to have an alternate property in mind. But start here because really, I didn’t notice these smells until I got home and other than that it was a very nice place to stay.

Full disclosure: I received a travel agent discount for my stay here. The boyfriend and I checked here in the afternoon, dropped off our bags, and didn’t return until close to 9pm, at which point we realized that the heat in our room(which had appeared to be set to an appropriate temperature) was not working. A call to the front desk got an explanation of a sensor that only turned the heat on while someone was in the room(are you kidding me??), and an offer to switch rooms, with no guarantee that that would help. Switching rooms did indeed yield us one with working heat, with the employee agreeing that it was much warmer in the hallway than in the room. The room itself was fine, typical accommodations. The hotel was quiet, and I definitely enjoyed the hot tub. Given its proximity to my parents’ house, I will probably stay here again.

Nice hotel. Decent breakfast. Nice fitness center. Good little pool. Excellent service. Clean rooms that seem to fairly recently renovated. I’d sleep here again.

This Express has not been updated in awhile. The telling factor is the fact that the bed was u-shaped and not flat. No flat screen TV’s just the old tube with a limited amount of channels. How does any hotel in the USA not have ESPN2? That’s crazy. Otherwise it was fine but for over $ 100 bucks in Germantown you can probably find nicer.

Very much the standard, just off the highway, modern hotel, except that the main doors are not triggered by a motion sensor. They are manual, swinging doors which is inconvenient when carrying luggage. The hotel is not new(as evidenced by the electrical outlets and switches), but has been fairly recently renovated. The bed was particularly comfortable and the continental breakfast had more selection than most including eggs, bacon and cinnamon rolls in addition to the expected cereal and bagels.
