Germantown Aesthetics

I’ve been a client here for years. Everyone is not only super friendly, but appointments for facials, peels, etc are never too far out. Plus, the Vein Institute is a great additional practice that offers women options for natural hormone replacement! :) Very big 5 stars!

I went to GA over a year ago to have three moles removed from my face by Katie. She was great. The process was a little nerve-​wrecking, but Katie and the rest of the staff made it easier.
I also had a consultation with Dr. Lawrence to do a more serious cosmetic surgery. I decided not to have the big job done. But if I were, I would definitely do it with GA. The entire staff is warm, welcoming and professional.
The prices seem reasonable although I don’t have much experience with this type of thing.

This is my first Unilocal review EVER but I had to say just how pleased I am with Germantown Aesthetics. Coming from San Diego where I had an amazing aesthetician I had high expectations and I wasn’t disappointed. The receptionists are always polite, helpful, and informative. Katie is amazing with anything needles. I do not do well with needles to the point that I have actually passed out during Botox (not fun). I was a bit nervous to go back but the wrinkles don’t care if I like needles or not. Katie was wonderful! She was light-​handed and kept me talking to keep my mind off the needle. The results were also amazing. She knew the perfect amount to use to keep the wrinkles at bay without making me look frozen. I have also been seeing Charlotte for CIT treatments. She is wonderful and very knowledgeable when it comes to skincare. I have only had two treatments but have seen very noticeable improvements. I will continue to use Germantown Aesthetics for all of my aesthetic needs.

I have been going to GA now for over 6 months for CIT. My last treatment was at the beginning of April. I love the results. The texture of my skin looks healthier and my pigmentation is much more even. Charlotte is great. She’s super knowledgable and I“m so glad that she recommended the treatment.

My mother in law and I went in for a pair consultation. We had things that we would like to do in mind, but Dr Laurence steered us in a new direction. I am of the mindset that he knows what should be done better than I do, but I am not sure that I will be completely satisfied with the outcome. To be continued…

When I went for my first appointment I was given a welcome packet and told how glad they were I was there — it kind of felt like joining a secret club. I started off with Vi Peels and moved onto Botox — which I had been getting done elsewhere for $ 2 more per unit. I also expressed interest in filler for the corners of my mouth but Katie encouraged me to try Botox, which cost much less than filler, and earned her my respect. Since seeing Katie I’ve from a tiny 6 units under my eyes to 20 well placed units and can see a difference. Charlotte does the peels and she is lovely as well.
A lot of my friends were curious so I’ve blogged about both Vi Peels and Botox:
Dr Lawrence is very nice but I don’t see him often as I’m not doing the «hardcore» stuff yet. I really want a phenol peel but don’t have the ability to take the time away from work. When I’m ready to graduate to other procedures I know I’ll be in good hands!

I hesitate to write this review, because Germantown Aesthetics is tiny and wonderful, and any additional people using their services may push back my wait time even further…
I have used GA for services for 5 years now, and appreciate their honesty and full disclosure about the side-​effects and recovery time from every little procedure, from hair removal, to leg vein treatments, to laser work to remove red and brown spots from my skin.
The team members are knowledgeable on the materials and chemicals they use, why they work, and why one may be superior to another. When I say «nobody should know I had this done but me», Katie, knows exactly what I mean. The office is friendly, set in an old Germantown home (once a wedding chapel), with warm and creaky hardwood floors, and look-​at-​me crown molding. The only reason I give it four stars and not five? One caveat: expect a wait time for your appointment. It is not uncommon, if you request a specific person, to wait up to a month to coordinate an appointment time that will suit both parties. You may wait a bit once you arrive, as well. 15 – 30 minutes is typical.

I have scar on my forehead from a fall a while back. One day i came across GA and decided to give them a try. Walking in the door i expected to pay thousand of dollars considering the size of my scar. Dr. Laurence took a look at my scar and prescribed me cream to put on it and see how that works. Dr. Laurence explain to me the ups and downs of each procedure and wanted what was best for me not my money. It have been 6 months and with no surgery, no laser treatment, not even a needle! My scar is almost invisible. Their pricing is very affordable and their services are very professional. I had have my microdermabrasion does there as well. i can’t remember the lovely lady name but she was amazing! I pay next to nothing to get my confident back thank to Dr. Laurence and his staffs. I would highly recommend GA to
anyone.
