Good sandwich and very friendly staff. The line becomes long at lunch.

I took my family in for lunch recently. The food was actually good, but they did not give any sort of military discount at all. However they did honor a senior discount right next to me. I will not go back until they start honoring military service and those that have served this great nation. There is a coupon in the Money Mailer that I recently learned about. It provides a good discount in the absence of any military, EMS, Police, Firefighter, or Senior discount. Give it a try. The subs are really good.

Love this location. It is clean and love that it used to be a fire station. We’ve come several times here and each time we enjoy our food and service. The staff is friendly and the sandwiches are good.

Found this place on the way back to Dallas. Good find! I love sub sandwiches and this place has some good sandwiches! They take their time making your sub and making sure it’s fully loaded! If I’m ever passing through again, I’ll stop and pick up a sub!

SO before I go on to talk about the food, I gave this Thundercloud an extra star because of it’s location. If you are walking around town, this is a great place to grab a quick bite. The sandwiches are good! There is plenty of seating, and it’s reasonably priced!

We lived on Thundercloud Subs while I was a student in Austin. So glad they are here in Georgetown so my kids can love them too :)

Giving this place 2 stars just because the service was very friendly. The sandwich was nothing but cheap bread an tasteless meat. The soup was horrible i should have stayed home and cooked on this cold day.

The absolutely best sandwich place ever! I love the turkey sandwiches, veggie delights, salads, broccoli cheese soup, cookies, Carpi-​Sun option. Everything is great here! Food is fresh, tasty, and well priced, the crew is awesome and very helpful and friendly! The speed of service is great. I love the store, it is so unique. If you want a fresh tasty meal and a great dining experience you should definitely go here! Yum!

A good selection of cold and hot subs. It’s much better and about the same price as subway.

I remember the old thundercloud. This isn’t any better than subway. Cheap meat and doughy bread.

Good sandwich that is the same at all locations. The bread is great however, the service at the GT location is perfect if you have 30 minutes to wait in line behind 2 other customers. S. L. O. W.
I know they prepare it all right there in front if you, but so does Subway and I’ve never had to wait at Subway. If the service was better, it would be 4 stars.

My all time favorite sandwich ever!
The only thing I’ve had is the Austin Club– chicken, bacon, quacamole and fresh toppings.
It’s so good I won’t try anything else.
I was so happy Georgetown got one! And it’s big.

Heyyoo! This Thundercloud is the BOMB! I work across the street at Razmataz Salon and thundercloud is definitely convenient for lunch. BUT despite being a sandwich lover, if it wasn’t for the totally awesome staff, I probably wouldn’t go there on account of being a little burned out. I mean, one can only eat so many sandwiches before they crave something else.
HOWEVER, in rare cases you come across a place that has such an awesome staff that you don’t even care if your tired of the food. Every time I go in there I am greeted with a smile and they always ask me how I’m feeling (on account of I’m 6 mos pregnant)
A little hint, ask them how their day is going too… They don’t bite!
OH RIGHT the food! The food is good! Fresher than Subway that’s for sure! I like the Austin club (no avocado) with a little Thunder Sauce (Oil, Vinegar & Paprika) and for my hot subs I like the meatball sub! They also have great soups although their Broccoli Cheese is a little on the watery side so I don’t prefer that one. But great salads and they make really yummy smoothies!

I’ve consistently visited Thundercloud, about once a month. I’d go more if the prices were just a tad better and if they’d get rid of one rude guy. It’s a nice asset for the square and I’m glad they are here.

So glad they opened in GT! Amazing sandwiches and service. Best veggie sandwich I have ever had. Try the carrot cake also-​it is delicious!

Thundercloud Sub is a favorite of mine… although this is my first time at the Georgetown location it’s much like the others in Austin. Agree with another reviewer about enjoying more egg salad on my sandwich but I’ll know next time to ask for more. Also, the bread is a little thick for my liking… I think if you’re like me, asking for the «sandwich artist» to take out some of the middle part of the bread would be a good idea! Oh, also… the staff was super nice and friendly!

Fantastic place, best sub shop in town. Good food, cool location. Friendly staff, rocker dude I met that worked there on opening day was a super cool dude.

Thundercloud is an Austin-​area chain of sandwich shops. If you’ve eaten at any of their other locations, you’ll know what to expect here at their newest: Better food than most of the other sandwich chains, and better prices than most of them, too. A meal here isn’t going to be mind-​blowing, but it won’t be disappointing, either.
They did a great job designing the space for this store, modernizing a very old building without concealing its age.
