Great place to find candy from your childhood, even if were Fred and Wilma’s neighbors. Also if you are from the wonderful NE, pop that you can’t find anywhere else. Been looking for Birch Beer and when you ask clerks they try to send you to the beer cooler. Pop to you Texans is what you call soda or coke. If you went up to NYC and asked for a Coke that is what you would get, not a DR. Pepper or a TAB. If you went to the Golden Land Of Pittsburgh and asked for a soda, they would mix ice cream and pop, because that is a soda. Anyway the owner is friendly and helpful, prices are high but you can’t find this stuff anywhere else. Will go back to get more POP and a sky bar, and a mello cup, and a Person nut cup and a bag of anise candy. I said anise not the other word, grow up. Now I will go and have a birch beer and some anise.

Sub par, extremely disappointed. I had driven by quite a few times and always wondered what kind of candy store it was. It is very small, the shelves were hardly stocked and they didn’t know what kinder chocolate was. They do have a ton of funky sodas if that’s what you are into? Ranch dressing soda?! Yeck! No thanks! I also promised my daughter a milkshake, and to no fault of the business(blue bell is what they use to serve) they didn’t have ice cream. Ok, so candy for her and Ill get a coffee drink, NOPE! They had the machine, but said they didn’t use it for some odd reason. Not going back, if you are walking by and looking for a Hershey bar, go on in… Other than that, I wouldn’t waste my time.

Great candy shop on the corner of Georgetown’s historic square. It has a nostalgic feel, like it could have been here 100 years ago. They make handmade sodas and floats and have a huge selection of old and modern candy. It’s become a family ritual to come on Saturday after the farmers market in wolf ranch.

This is a great spot for Candy when visiting the square in Georgetown, or even worthy of driving in to from Austin as they have a great selection of common candy, lots of bulk selections, sour candy, nostalgic and older stuff, some kitchy flavored sodas like bacon, buffalo wing, etc… and I think they make italian sodas and malts and all that jazz as well. Prices are very reasonable and are under $ 7 a lb so roughly half of what you’d pay in the malls and airports for comparable chain candy shops.

Cute little candy shop in Georgetown with very reasonable prices on the bulk candy. They offer a decent selection of different types of candy here — from giant jaw breakers to jelly beans. I mainly got an array of sour candies and was very surprised when the cost was much cheaper than I had expected. Some newer candy shops charge a ridiculous price per pound, but this shop charges around $ 6.95 per pound(if I remember correctly). They also have soda fountain drinks and coffee drinks that are made on the spot, but I haven’t tried those. They carry a pretty big selection of sodas and bottled drinks, some of which are imported from various countries around the world. Great little candy shop to stop in if you are in Georgetown and want to reminisce about candy from your childhood.

A Georgetown Tx MUST visit for candy-crazed kids at heart, Sweet Tooth Candy has just about everything and anything you’d ever want. If it’s got sugar, they probably have it. The best part about this store is it’s stock of nostalgic candy and chocolates from back in the day. Anyone remember cigarette candy? They tasted like chalk but man those were cool. All gourmet Soda bottle and a root beer floats with blue bell ice cream is real. $ 3.25 give me the tap!!! Bonus: Everything is reasonably priced!

I absolutely love this place. Many of you know Your Ol’ Pal Shooey has a sweet tooth like a 6 year old. Some of you may know that I have a major thing for root beer flouijats. Well, the fine folks at Sweet Tooth have me covered. An old-timey type penny candy store, with an old school soda fountain, these folks do it right. When you order a soda, you get it the old fashioned way, with carbonated water and syrup(some of them made right there) mixed before your eyes. Top their old-fashioned root beer with a creamy vanilla ice cream, and you have one of the best root beer floats in Central Texas! And for a cool little finishing touch, they garnish the drink with a gummy cherry! While their soda fountain itself is worth the visit, their selection. Of exotic, imported, and classic retro candies make this place a fun and sweet experience. Personally, I love the salt water taffy – among the flavors, maple bacon! Yes! I’d also be remiss if I didn’t mention the huge assortment of exotic and gourmet soda bottles. All kinds of fun and traditional flavors. I saw a childhood favorite – Sioux City Sarsaparilla. I can’t wait to explore the many different soda varieties. So if you find yourself in G-Town walking the Square, go two blocks south on Austin Avenue to get one of the best root beer floats ever!

Great for a candy store. Parking isn’t too great. They offer rootbeer floats and cofffee here too. The variety of candy just didn’t fulfill my sweet tooth. The staff is friendly and helpful.

It’s hard to pass this shop and not notice the candy/no candy sign they put out each morning. I could gush about all the stuff you can find in here as far as candy and bottled soda goes… But I’m just going to say that I really like this place. Everybody I’ve encountered working here is very nice and helpful. I particularly like the fresh mixed hibiscus mint and cucumber jalapeño sodas. It’s fun and delicious. Just go inside.

Great! The guy behind the counter made us some interesting sodas… a ginger beer sort of thing and something with cucumber which wasn’t my fave but might be someone else’s! We bought so much candy, it’s actually a little bit embarrassing. This place is super cute and quant, and a great stop around Georgetown’s square! I think the décor is spot on. Would recommend!

Went in today after seeing the sign a couple weeks ago. What a cool little place! My husband loves ginger beer and after seeing them list all the sodas by the bottle, so I was hoping to find some new ones to add to his repertoire(I did). I was greeted by the owner, Elvis, who was friendly and even more helpful when it became obvious I was going to need a carrier for all the bottles I was rapidly selecting off the shelves. Once I disclosed that I was looking for ginger beer, he recommended one of their hand-crafted ginger beers, and explained how it’s made. It was heaven!!! I had a few sips on the way to the car and it never made it home. Great local place, fantastic selection, and helpful owner… a complete home run. I look forward to visiting again in the near future.

This is probably one of the best places to go to get your sweet tooth taken care of. The owner and his wife are super sweet, and they take orders! So if your favorite candy isn’t there, just tell ‘em and chances are, they’ll get it in!

Cue my candy shop music! Hit it, DMX! «Y’all gon’ make me lose my mind up in here, up in here! Y’all gon’ make me go all out up in here, up in here. Y’all gon’ make me act a fool up in here, up in here!» Holy CandyLand! Where do you look or go first?!? We were greeted upon entry. The kiddos took off, to dig their(clean-no worries) hands into the wheelbarrows of candy. Welcome back to the 80’s, the magical decade of candy eating; Rocky Road, Pop Rocks, Laffy Taffy, Charleston Chews, candy cigarettes, Big League Chew. Oh Jees… All kinds of nostalgia up in there. Buddy the Elf said that the four food groups are: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup. If you’re following his food pyramid, you’ll meet all your nutritional needs in one visit. It’s a fun store but it’s not a playground. Definitely need to watch the littles in there. Especially since they have glass bottles within reaching distance for the 3 feet and under crowd. I had a lot of fun looking around, flashing back in time and being giddy with the kiddos. You won’t regret visiting here or bringing the kids in. The owner said that they’ll be getting ice cream soon. Just in time for summer! He was super nice and sweet about my kiddos roaming through the store touching everything! Word of advice: stay away from the bacon jelly beans in the bacon shaped tin up by the register. Awful!

Great concept, but it fails on follow through. Cheesy décor/music. Everything is just kind of slopped together and piled wherever. I feel like I am at a candy garage sale. I see tons of candy in jars with hand written labels. Saw a few tongs for the candy jar, but no plastic bags to put the candy in. Shouldn’t each candy jar have its’ own pair of tongs? Plus a lot of candy was a bit over priced. Some taffy was priced at $ 1.50 and I know several places to get the same taffy for .45 or less. Old fashioned candy sticks @ .35/each, I know a place in Williamson county to get them 10/$ 1.00. I know, I know, pennies right? But there were a lot of other things that were overpriced. Not to mentioned, no one greeted us when we walked in, or offered help. Also is it proper to be caring for an infant behind the counter where you prepare drinks and serving unwrapped candy for the public?

Cool little place in Georgetown with tons of different types of candies and chocolates to bag on your own. They have a ton of «nostalgic» candy(candy cigarettes and such) The place is put together a little haphazardly but the folks working are very friendly and helpful. Also serve milkshakes, sodas, etc. but didn’t have a chance to try this trip. Kids really love going here as well so we’ll be stopping by whenever the kids feel like buying some candy!
