We have used this restaurant a number of times and only do so because there are very few Chinese restaurants in Georgetown. Overall their food is marginal and their help is lacking, we call this evening to try and order takeout and set on the phone for over five minutes and no one came to take our order. When you compare this food to some of the restaurants in Austin the differences are so far apart it is unbelievable, this restaurant Chinese food is amateurish and lacks the detail of true Oriental cuisine. It’s like they hired a couple chef for Mexico, taught them how to use five spice and let them make the menu. Fool me once your fault, fool me twice my fault, if I could give this restaurant a zero I would but you go ahead and use it and if it works for you great if not you just wasted $ 35

My hubby and I ordered take out for the first time from here earlier this week. This is one of the closest Chinese restaurants to our house and it was good enough that we will definitely be back. I’m absolutely LOVE Chinese food and with all of the horribly incorrect reviews on Asian food in the Austin area, I’m thrilled when we come across somewhere that actually makes me happy we grabbed a to-go menu. What we ordered: egg rolls, crab rangoons, wonton soup, combination lo mein and moo goo gai pan. Cost: $ 24 Pretty much all of the food was delicious, albeit a tad bit skimpy for the entrée prices. The two complaints we had: the wonton soup tasted like ginger water and while really good, the moo goo gai pan was the furthest thing from traditional moo goo gai pan I have ever seen. It had mounds of fresh mushrooms, zucchini and chicken, but instead of being in a clear chicken based sauce, it was in a thick brown garlic sauce. It was really good, just not what we ordered. We will definitely be back to try out their other offerings.(Side note: they serve their rice in the actual Chinese to-go boxes!)

The Kung pao sauce is awesome. Add it to any dish. We get the chicken with vegetables I Kung pao sauce. Also, try the fire cracker prawns. It is a spicy sweet tomato sauce. You do have to request white meat but it is worth the upgrade. Prices are reasonable. Much better than the chain restaurants.

This is the only Chinese food my son will eat. By far the best broccoli beef I’ve ever had across four states. The rice was perfectly cooked, fountain drinks were great, and everything we ordered was delicious. I could eat here every day.

I have ordered from this place 5 times in hope that maybe it will get better. I am sorry to say, but it continually declines. Order Kung Pao Chicken — Extra spicy, side of hot oil Visit 1) Bland but ok — decent for fast food — hot oil burned, but meal is a bit spicy 2) Peppers and hot oil burnt, peanuts raw but I can add hot sauce and make it bearable. 3) Sauce burnt — No hot oil — Drained and almost had to rinse my meal before I ate. 4) No hot oil — Was sent Hot mustard, Not spicy at all. 5) Did not get Kung Pao Chicken — Received Chicken and Mushrooms, no hot oil. Thank Goodness I am not Allergic! Hmmm **Egg rolls — decent, I like them **Soup — Egg Drop too sweet for me, switched to wonton on order 3 — nice flavor I don’t like Hot and Sour so I can not review it. ** Crab Rangoon and dumplings are good. This is not my first review to them but I have never received a response back. requested the delivery company to seek another Chinese food restaurant. Georgetown needs more so people have an opportunity to taste good food.

Sweet and sour chicken was alright and the fried rice was bland every time. Beware if you order shrimp of any kind be sure to look! Thick lines of poop hidden under the breading. I looked at them all and they were not cleaned in the slightest! Threw my food away and lost my appetite for 2 weeks! Not going back!

Best Chinese ever! Portions are huge! I had Mongolian Beef, hubby got Sesame Chicken. Steamed dumplings were perfect, as well as the Crab Rangoon. Very good place for real Chinese! Stop by, you will not be sorry!

The service was great, food came out quickly. The Egg Drop Soup was bland, the sauce for the lemon chicken bland. Chicken bland.

Tried this place for the first time on 10/26/2015. To call this a chinese resterant is a joke, firstly there are no chinese cooks, secondly the order I brought home was tossed into the garbage, everything was over cooked tasteless and disgusting. This is probably the worst resterant I have ever been in. Beyond horrible. AVOID!!!

Good Chinese hidden away in a side strip Nice little place! The egg rolls are pretty good, and our entrees, Orange beef and Mongolian Beef were very good. Really like this joint. Compares favorably with anything in the Austin area. You should try it-soon.

Tasteless… If you think this is authentic chinese food you must be crazy. Not sure why everyone praised this restaurant, I was expecting high quality and they didn’t deliver.

Still fantastic every time. I love their pork with garlic sauce! Your chefs are awesome. Love your sauces. Well made, high quality. It’s relatively easy to prep meat & vegetables but the sauces take skill and for me that’s a sign of great food.

Went in for the Sunday brunch, when they have a buffet. It was ok for the price with plenty of food, just limited choices. But the area is small so they don’t have much room for it. I will go back and order off the menu during the week and I think I will write a better review as the food has some potential.

Not too impressed– took awhile to get our food. The sweet and sour chicken I’d ordered for my daughter was mushy, my Kung pao chicken was very mild, and both dishes were cold. Staff was nice, but my overall experience left much to be desired.

Orange chicken, excellent! Not crazy about their hours. Got there at 3:40 and waited for 20 minutes for them to open. It was worth the wait but inconvenient.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise for Saturday lunch. Tried this place due to previous Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed. Got in quickly. Ordered the Triple Kung Pao lunch special. I’ve never had the option of ordering this before, let alone get chicken, beef and shrimp Kung Pao for under $ 7! I picked hot and sour soup and steamed rice to accompany the egg roll that came with the meal. The tea and soup came out immediately and were tasty. Shortly after I downed the soup, the Kung Pao arrived. The plate was full! The veggies were crisp, the sauce had a lot of flavor and was very hot. Almost scalded my tongue! Lots of meat, and the shrimp were nice and large. The egg roll was a nice addition. I’m not in the Georgetown area during lunchtime often, but this is definitely a go-to place when I am.
