We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary. The place is beautiful and the folks that own it are very sweet people. Do not expect a «corporate hotel» experience– they are very mom and pop– I personally prefer it that way. The rooms all share a single common room, and I can definitely see renting it out for a family reunion. The breakfast was delicious! The only negative feedback I have is the coffee in the main room had very tea-like qualities… but the stay was so good, I didn’t really care! The late check-out time is great– but we stayed there right before a big wedding so we had to take off a bit early(Happy Wedding, Rachel!). They were so nice to us and so wonderful! :)

Myself and our wedding party stayed at the b&b. We rented out the entire place. The house itself is beautiful. Our main issue was the service. I would explain it as hovering at all times, which can become too much. I was trying to put on my wedding dress and the owner kept popping upstairs to provide reminders. Additionally, one morning the owner noticed one of the fan remotes wasn’t in the proper place and told us at breakfast, «It must be found!» Additionally, at breakfast the day after the wedding it became a mystery of where a key was, by being cross-examined by the owner. That’s too much for me, we obviously returned all keys and remotes, but I could do without the accusatory vibe. And, would rather stay somewhere where I was told congrats rather than being cross-examined. The rooms are beautiful, but maybe better if you’re going with your spouse alone, not a group.

The beds are incredibly comfortable, the décor looks like it emerged from pinterest, and breakfast was great! I left trying to figure out how to make my apartment look like that. Can’t imagine there’d be a better place to stay in Georgetown.

We stayed at San Gabriel House B & B for our Georgetown wedding and hosted our rehearsal there and were completely charmed by it! We stayed in the carriage house for one night, and the night before the wedding the groom stayed elsewhere while I my bridesmaids, family, and I all stayed in the B & B. It was absolutely perfect for our wedding party… the rooms are huge and lovely and the innkeepers were just so helpful and nice. Everyone who stayed there with us had only good things to say about it as well. The upstairs library was the perfect spot for hair and makeup and we took our photos in front of the house the morning of the wedding. It was perfect. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner there, which was one of the best decision we could have made! We hired a food truck to set up in the driveway and guests could dine on the porch or in the house. Dee & Neil went above and beyond to make sure it was a great event and it paid off — we were so relaxed and happy leading up to the wedding. I can’t say enough good things about how great they were!

A must visit place to put on your list. Perfect for family gatherings or just hanging out.

Calling this a B&B is a little modest, I think! At least, when I heard the name I wasn’t prepared for the luxurious rooms, or the almost stately atmosphere of the place. This century old building has been done up very tastefully(not exactly MY taste, per se, but nicely done). When I was shown around, I felt like I was viewing a museum! The garden behind is lovely for small gatherings, sitting outside for brunch etc. The couple running the B&B cooked up some lovely food too. If you can — try the homemade cranberry-raspberry juice! One oddity — if you have a baby, you need to book the whole B&B(4 rooms), as they are not willing to impose baby noise on other guests.
