Reimagine

My family and I recently relocated to Georgetown. I went looking for a few pieces for our new home. Reimagine has a very nice selection of shabby chic furniture. Wonderful for accent pieces scattered throughout the house. The owner also mixes her own custom colors for selected pieces. Therefore «one of a kind» items can be had for very reasonable prices. The owner was a pleasure with whom to work and had many good suggestions. However, if I chose not to take her suggestions, she was able to move into my plan easily and work within my perimeters. Loved the experience.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! The owner, I’m guessing, answered the phone and possesses no phone etiquette. I called to ask if they carry milk paint, jel paint, and inquire about painting furniture. I had to repeat myself multiple times, even though I spoke clearly. She said «no», and after I asked more questions then said yes, that it’s on the way. That response would have been beneficial from the beginning. Also in regards to the furniture painting. I informed her that my husband had just build a table and I wanted to get an estimate to paint it. I have a link on pinterest that shows pictures, dimensions, and everything that one would need to give an adequate price. She stated, «she doesn’t give estimate over the phone». Which I believe is completely understandable. But when I pressed for more information, e.g. what kind of price ranges does she charge for pieces, high/​low range, how does she go about pricing (size/​shape/​condition). She ignored everyone of my questions, and rudely responded, «to go across the street, she wasn’t doing it». And then states, «she has 3 weeks of work to do». It’s quite evident this women does not posses the Tx hospitality that most of us are used to around here. Also does not care about customers or being helpful. I even had to ask her, why she was aggressively trying not to be helpful. I can not judge my review on the stores merchandise, just the treatment and lack of respect from this individual.

Purchased a table here for a good price. Some antiques stores want a fortune for run of the mill antiques. Owner was nice and helpful and she also redoes furniture.
