I am fortunate to live just a mile down the road form this hardware store. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Many of the products they sell are USA made or much higher quality that what you would find at the big box stores, and the prices are very competitive.
They sell nails and wood screws by the pound which is a much better deal than anywhere else. They also sharpen blades, fix screen doors, and repair gas power tools and mowers.
My only complaint, I wish they were open on Sunday!

Floyds Knobs, IN
If you live in the Floyd Knobs area then this is a great place to seek advice from a helpful owner and staff. To be honest, perhaps prices are tick cheaper at the larger box stores but then I’m NOT the most handy of people and often need advice. That’s what you get here, sound advice, personal service and attention. If that cost me a few more pennies then the tradeoff is in my favor. This store has been servicing southern Indiana for decades and is locally owned, you should give them a try.

Unless you enjoy having to listen to misanthropic rants and Rush Limbaugh blasting on the radio, I would suggest finding a more pleasant environment in which to shop. Thumbs down!
