Great place. I’ve taken several items here– from simple hems to more complex dress alterations. They always do a good job. If there is any question on fit they have me try on when I come to pick up or invite me to bring back if any problems. Very friendly staff.

I have used KAD Alterations for several years. The family does amazing work. They have altered many different types of garments, household items and have even done some custom clothing work for me. They are always honest and deliver as promised and on time. I was in customer service business for years and I always look forward to a visit to KAD and always feel very pleased when I leave. There small business is a real jewel that all of Georgetown needs to know about. Thank you ladies!

I had my wedding dress altered here, and they did a fantastic job. The staff was meticulous in their alterations. I had a bustle and cap sleeves added, and the seamstress also tacked the lace overlay to the silk sheath so that it would lay perfectly even when bustled. I had several hiccups in my dress fitting due to the bridal salon sending the wrong material for sleeves, and KAD was patient and made sure everything was exactly how I pictured it.

KAD is amazing! They have done my daughter’s cheer uniforms for two yrs now & have almost had to completely remake them. Despite the massive amount of work that had to be done, they came thru quickly & everything looked exactly as it should! They have also altered a couple of formal dresses for me, which have also turned out wonderfully…& their prices are always just as great as their work. I highly recommend them for any project, big or small!

I ripped my son’s comforter while trying to wash it and thought I ruined it. I tried calling places and got either really high prices or it sounded like really bad work. I called KAD and no one answered, but it does not affect my recommendation since I am very happy with the results. So, I went in, and they gave me several options to repair the comforter. Then they tell me it is going to be a week which is what everyone is telling me so I accept it — but a week seems like a long time. When I pick it up, they put a new patch on the comforter that perfectly matched the rest. The sewing style was even the same, and it was hand sown, it was awesome workmanship. I was impressed.
