For mothers who are interested in placenta encapsulation, Lisa’s service is very convenient. Although I ended up delivering a couple of weeks prior to my official delivery date, Lisa had no problem accommodating this schedule. We notified her during labor that we would be delivering soon and then the day after gave her a call and she scheduled the placenta pick up for the same day. Within 48 hours of the pick up she hand delivered the placenta pills to our hospital room! Lisa is very friendly and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend her service to anyone!

Lisa is the best! She came to my house to pick up my placenta after I gave birth. She even came by again to deliver them. She made it very easy on us! I suggest doing both the capsules and tincture, you can’t beat the price either. Thanks Lisa !

Lisa encapsulated my placenta last month after the birth of my first child. I was talked into doing this from a friend who is an acupuncturist so I figured I’d give it a shot. My sisters both had some degree of postpartum depression so I wanted to avoid that. I have to say it was the best decision I could have made. I feel great; my energy has been wonderful despite being sleep-​deprived. My milk supply is awesome– my baby girl actually gained 2 pounds in 10 days… The pediatrician was amazed! My bleeding has been minimal and I have already lost 30 of the 40 pounds I gained. Lisa is very professional and efficient. And she delivers the capsules directly to your house which is so convenient. I will definitely use her services with subsequent pregnancies.

Lisa encapsulated my placenta when my son was born last September. I asked Lisa if we could visit in person before I secured her services and she came to my home to go over everything! I was very impressed with her willingness to go out of her way to meet me. (I am an oddball and like to meet people to get their «vibe» before I use their services!) Had a great experience working with Lisa and Sarah. Sarah picked up my placentas from St. David’s North Austin Medical Center (Women’s Center.) My nurse was not familiar with the protocol, but Sarah texted instructions so we ensured my placentas (twins) were properly handed-​off.
Sarah showed up with everything dried and encapsulated at my house shortly after I was released from the hospital. The capsules are small and came with clear instructions and everything has been going well. I think they are working — have taken when i get stressed or crampy and realize i have forgotten to take them previously. Seems to make a difference.

I was introduced through my sister who had her baby just 4 weeks before I did. Being a little skeptical my family insisted on me encapsulating my placenta. After going through an emergency C section and learning my son will be in NICU for several weeks. Sarah and Lisa’s kindness is helping me cope. Being new to the idea of placenta encapsulation, I did my own research on the internet to find out who was the best in town. Lisa Kestler (Hill Country Placentas) kept popping up as well-​rated, properly trained and maintains a sterile environment. It seemed all her online customers were happy customers! I was doing this research pretty last minute (2 days before due date), and Lisa didn’t flinch. I wrote her in the evening, and she contacted me very quickly with all of the information I needed to make a decision to use her services. I went in feeling confident that I was working with a professional and that my placenta would be treated with care in a safe and clean environment. She stayed in good communication with me and answered all my questions leading up to the placenta retrieval. We felt fully prepared for how to store it until pick up (which we had worried about before contacting her), and we were confident in the capsules we would receive from her. I am happy to say that Lisa drove to my house, dropped off my capsules, made sure I understood the simple instructions (with the fog of giving birth and sleep deprivation, she will keep it simple for you!), and she has checked up on me to make sure I’m feeling ok and happy with the capsules.
