Crestview RV

I love Justin A at Crestview! He is an awesome salesman who always tried to give us what we wanted and to make things right! Toma was great too! Very helpful and tolerant of my 50 questions! Nice guy (who loves his Jeep)! I even liked the money man Luckett! Everyone we meet was very accommodating, friendly and helpful! My only suggestion is: Stand in the shower before you buy!

Terrible service. My Class C has been there for 11 days waiting for minor service with a confirmed appointment for day one. I did not heed the bad reviews on the RV sites, that was a mistake. They are deserving of the bad reviews they get. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

The staff is VERY friendly. Clint was our salesman and was wonderful. Daniel is our service advisor and has gone above and beyond to serve us. We purchased our first RV and plan to live in it year round. They were great at teaching us about the RV and helped us through the process. I even locked myself out of my RV and Clnt came to the RV park and unlocked it! Service was amazing!

I went in to Crestview in Georgetown really just to browse and was introduced to salesman Greg White. I told Greg that I am a total noob when it comes to the RV world and he spent the next hour educating me on the wide world of RV’s! At no time did he pressure me to make a purchase or employ any scare tactics to force a sale upon me. He did show me 4 units that appealed to me and after weighing my options, I thanked him for his time and went on my way.
My girlfriend and I went back up to Crestview a day or so later and looked at a few units and decided that we liked the Keystone Springdale 28′ pull behind and again spoke with Greg. We, after playing the ‘let me go talk to my manager’ game, agreed on a price and purchased the unit. The finance manager was great and made the process simple. Greg then came back and assisted me in the ‘goodies’ section and educated me on things I did and didn’t need.
I was in a rush to get the unit because I needed it the following day (I went in on a friday afternoon and needed the unit Saturday morning) for a funfly and the staff at Crestview was 100% accommodating. Again, Greg was with me the entire walk through process and he and the service staff answered all my questions. We did have an issue with the awning motors and was told that parts would be ordered and installed ASAP. I returned the unit on Sunday and Greg met me and assisted with the drop off. We had a few other minor issues that were addressed and taken care of promptly. I received multiple phone calls keeping me up to speed with what was going on and never once felt like I was being ignored. I needed the RV the next weekend for a family outing and when I went to pick it up, it was washed and sparkling! The awning motors still weren’t fixed but were still operational. I was told when we’re done for the weekend, bring it back and when the awning motors arrive, they will be installed. I brought the unit back again on Sunday and again, Greg met me in the lot and assisted me in dropping it off. There was an issue with one of the sliders and a staff member promptly assisted me in figuring out the issue and fixing it. The service guys took it a step further and upgraded the fuses so hopefully all is well!
Even though we had a few in the road initially, the issues were addressed promptly and we were never left in the dark. Hopefully this kind of service continues as the many negative reviews kinda turned my stomach as I read them AFTER making the purchase!

Dropped off the camper to get fixed. It won’t pop up. Service guy told me it would be a month before they could get to it. I called the service manager and yep, «one month.»
I was looking to upgrade, and the sales guy assured me that they have «more than thirty service bays to meet any service need.»
I’m currently unmotivated to spend twenty thousand dollars there on a product that doesn’t have a service reputation to match sales rhetoric.
So, do your homework and check facts before committing big bucks.
One star until the can do diag and quote in 72 hours or less.

We live in Round Rock — have 2 kids/​boys so therefore sold the Harley Davidson. We opted for a family activity and started looking at campers.
Our sales guy (CAM WHARTON) located at the Crestview location in Georgetown was very easy to work with. He listened to our needs and wants and showed us several options. He was very patient with us and made the buying process very easy. His knowledge of campers is outstanding and knows the competition well — we asked a lot of questions in this arena. We will definitely go back to Cam and would recommend him to anyone.

I have nothing but nice things to say about the sales person, Lon, that sold us the motor home we purchased earlier this week. The rest of the staff however, is a different story. First they kept us waiting for 45 mins to «take delivery» on our new rv. Wouldn’t have been a huge deal except that they weren’t busy and we had an appointment. Then we discover that our toilet seat is cracked and tv remotes are missing, but they would take care of it before we left. Fast forward another 45 minutes and not only was this not done, but the oil change was over due and we got a ticket on the way home for no mud flaps. This is after their inspector told us that he was a certified vehicle inspector and we were good to go. It was about 2:00 in the afternoon and I called 4 different time to speak with someone, anyone, in parts that could tell us where to get some mud flaps. We were scheduled to leave that evening to begin a road trip, which they were aware of. I never got anyone in parts on the phone and no one called back. Now, as I am driving (passenger of course) down the highway, the weatherstripping on a window on the drivers side is coming off and slapping against the side of the rv… And what a shock, no answer at Crestview. So now, while on vacation in another state on a holiday weekend we will have to find a place to fix the weather stripping and mud flap situation for sure. I am not sure how Crestview got their good reputation, but don’t believe the hype– all they care about is making a sale.

In my opinion this place is defiantly worth the extra 15 minute drive. I was weighing some options on getting a trailer to live in while I travel and work.
I know as much about trailers as I do women (which is pretty much nothing). Right when I walked in Cameron greeted me and told me to look around and if I had any questions to let him know.
It was pretty refreshing to not have any high pressure salesmen breathing down my neck.
Cameron showed me a lot of options and helped me narrow down exactly what I am looking for. We looked and new and used as well as the pros and cons of each.
Overall I am about 60 days away from when I need to buy but rest assured if its at all possible I would like work with crestview and their staff.

I have not been this disappointed in a business in years.
I bought a nearly new travel trailer from them. The part where I buy something went well. However, when I got it home, the slide-​outs would not slide out. I called them, and they came right away and picked it up. So, I was thinking this might be a good company.
Unfortunately, when they picked it up, they never checked it back in or filled out a service ticket. So, over the next 10 days, nothing would happen. Multiple times, I called. Each time, I reached a service adviser who said, «there isn’t even a ticket in the system. I will find out what is going on and call you back.» However, no one ever called back. After the first two phone calls, we stopped in personally. Again, the service adviser said, «I will find out what is going on and call you later today.» He never called either.
For another week, we did this. We called Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Each time it was the same, «there is no ticket in the system. I will check on it and get back to you.» By Saturday, we had had enough, so we went back there in person. This time, we made a bit of a fuss. The sales manager wasn’t happy that we were making a scene. «You don’t need to get all upset about it, we will find out what is going on and let you know.» We insisted that he would find out what was going on NOW and that we weren’t leaving until it was taken care of. And, we kept our volume up for everyone in the store to hear, because that is the ONLY way we could get them to actually do what we needed.
Once we got them on it, it took only about an hour for them to find and fix the problem. But it took at least five phone calls, two visits, and a heated exchange to get them to do it.
The service adviser who finally took care of us did apologize. He stated this was his busy season, and everyone is overworked, «so stuff falls through the cracks.» I told him that what made us mad is that at least 8 different times a person specifically said they would check on it and call us back, but not one of those 8 people followed through. His answer shocked me, «I’ll call you back is one of those things you just say, like ‘the check is in the mail.’» I firmly told him, «no, ‘I will call you back’ is a promise that you make to the customer who pays the money that keeps you employed. If you say it, you mean it and you do it.»
When the salesman delivered it the second time, he gave us his card. He was clearly trying to recover our experience. He spent some time with us answering questions and went over the trailer with us for a little while before he left. He did offer to come back when we hook it up to the truck for the first time, to ensure that we know how to hook everything up properly. However, we have called multiple times since then to ask him to do that. No one will come out. They did refer us to someone else that we can hire to do it if we want.
They are good at selling stuff. Their customer service, at least during peak season, is horrendous. The worst part is that no one in the dealership seemed to be at all interested in making it better, even when we were giving them feedback that was reasonable.

Crestview RV has a good group working in their service team and on-​site store. The service is prompt, professional and courteous and their hours are convenient for RV’ers that also have to work normal hours.
I have had my travel trailer serviced here in the past and was pleased with the work. It was done when they said it would be and they didn’t try to add on a bunch of work or product that wasn’t asked for.
Their store is just plain dangerous… of course they have lots of RV specific fixtures and fittings that are hard to find elsewhere, but they also have lots of those fun gadgets and items that you find that you just absolutely have to have as you wander the aisles.
For my location in Round Rock, I find Crestview far more convenient to get to then say Camping World down in San Marcos. And once again, its the people that make the experience. Without knowing the proper lingo, I have asked the counter staff to point me towards some poorly explained «do-​hickie» or «thingamajig» and they can always locate it!
