Baymont Inn And Suites Georgetown

I was passing through and was a little hesitant to stop but very thankful I did. Jessica and Rita were so friendly and helpful. I will be staying here anytime I pass through KY. The rooms were completely remodeled and all new furniture. I was extremely happy with my stay.

Very uncomfortable beds, pillows are worthless, in a non smoking room and it smells like smoke. Place not very well taken care of. Would not recommend to anyone.

In 30 years of family vacations I don’t think we have ever left a hotel 2 days into a 8 day stay. This place is a straight up dump. Walk in everyone’s friendly. Get to the room it’s not terrible. Swim the first day cool second day on our way down the health department is there and shuts down the pool. No one can tell us when it will be back open. Ice machines don’t work. The ac in our room worked but everywhere else in the hotel was like a sauna. We have to buy bags of ice to keep drinks cool in our cooler. The fake tile in the bathroom is peeling off the walls while we r takin showers. Second day we leave to go have a fun day at the horse park we come back the maid service has not even looked at our room. I have to take the dirty towels to the front desk get new towels he was lucky I didn’t throw the garbage can at him which is so small it can’t hold a empty can and only one in the bathroom. The maid comes up and takes the garbage out. Somehow we didn’t realize till the next morning when we were waking up and packing to leave that we ran out of toilet paper bc the maid never came to clean our room or even make our beds the day before. Oh and don’t waste your time with the Complementary breakfast. Walk across the street and pay at Waffle House you will be much happier. Plus the staff is extremely rude and would only say well you can always leave and go somewhere else. Which is exactly what we’ve done.

It’s obvious that the owners and management don’t care or have given up. Dirty, poorly kept and in poor repair.

Check in was poor, couldn’t find room keys to give us or our reservation. Smell in the hallways and room were terrible. The person who checked us in, stayed (lives) in the room next to us and was very loud until 3am. Breakfast was a joke, no coffee. No one at the front desk to help. While waiting to check out we read a note left by another guest that read «this hotel is trashy», we agree.

The most disgusting hotel I have ever been to in my life! The hallways smell of smoke even though it was a no smoking hotel. And the room was disgusting as well. There were stains all over the carpet and the wallpaper was peeling off of the walls due to the black MOLD! I immediately left the room and took my bags back to the front counter where I told the clerk why I was leaving. The girl said the hotel is trying to correct the mold issue. There are MANY other nice hotels in Georgetown from which to choose. Do NOT stay here!

Oh, my! Wait til the renovations are complete! In fairness, the hotel is in the middle of a remodel. .. My 8 yr old and I spent a night here. Desk help was friendly enough but the property is older and run down. We found lumpy beds, the shower rod and towel racks bent, the carpet worn and furniture missing! So, we went to the indoor pool. And found beetles floating on the water. Upon returning, my child asked why we didnt stay at a nicer hotel. I wondered that myself.
