Nice winery with a nice view of Seneca Lake. Everyone is very friendly. My favorites are the Sangrias and the Mulled Red Wine. They also have great outdoor seating. You can come here for cider too. Nice winery.

My first winery experience and I was scared to go to any others because of how off-putting the experience was. The pourer who took my money for the tasting gave me my change, then ignored me for 10 minutes without having given me any wine at all. Mind you, with the dry selection there is no skimming and picking ones you want, the dry list is the dry list. I just stood there feeling silly while she repeatedly attended to the same group of people and did not give me any indication that she was even aware I continued to exist. One of the other tasters across the area even told her she needed someone to attend to me. Eventually she did attend to me but was not friendly. engaging or pleasant and my wait times continued to be very long between pours and it really wasn’t that busy. Help did come and things went a little smoother. My boyfriend wanted to order a beer so we went to that section following my wine tasting and again stood there and waited as 2 – 3 other people amassed as well looking to order beer and there was no staff in site. Again, no indication or sign around to ‘please wait until someone can come over’ which would have been appreciated. All in all I did a lot of standing around uncomfortably and I am a patient person, when things are states as such. I loved the music but the patio was busy and standing room only when I arrived so I would bring chairs. If it were just the wine and music I would have given in 5 stars but the unpleasantness of the staff and discomfort of the place left a lot to be desired.

Worst service of any of the wineries we tried in the area. Very unfriendly staff. Wine was sub par and beer selection lacking. Live music and outdoor patio were the only things that made it bearable. Would not recommend.

This winery tasting room is very spacious, overlooking Seneca lake on the main parkway. When you first walk in, there is a store, with random wine accessories, shirts, etc. When you walk towards the back there are two sets of luxurious tasting bars. Tastings were $ 5 for 5 wines. You could try the dry wine list, or the sweets. The sweet wines you can skim through and mark the ones with a white board marker that you are interested in tasting, after reading their detailed descriptions. The drys are more limited, but a lot tastier. The view is gorgeous, and they have a patio for big groups to enjoy. They also have beers in the back for the non-wine lovers too.

Was not impressed there was no customer service. 5he lady was not personable. The wines were not that good. However I would go back to try the root beer but that lost didn’t appear to be open. I would not go back to this one plenty of other wineries in the area. Though the view is very nice but don’t waste your time on this one

We did the wine and beer tasting. The Meritage red wine was excellent, we bought 3 bottles. Beers are good also. Bought a growler. Staff(Ladies) were curtious and fun. A great place to visit.

Great wine — relaxing environment. Stop & check it out — worth the stop. Great wines.

We did both beer and wine tasting. The wine was my favorite of the two! We did the sweeter wines(you pick any 6 for $ 4). The woman handling our tasting was fantastic and once she knew what kind of wines we liked she suggested some of her own choices and those ended up being the wines we bought several bottles of! Highly recommend Happenstance if you like a sweet red. The Moonshadow reisling tasted almost like grape juice(i could easily kill a bottle in one sitting!) We went late on a monday but they accommodated us anyways and were super nice/friendly

White Springs — what a great place! I’m so glad I tried it. If it weren’t for the lady at Belhurst running out of weekday passes, my boyfriend and I would never have tried this winery. It’s 100% worth a visit, they really have some amazing wines to taste and it’s right by Belhurst Castle(it seems they work together, which is great!). Tastings are $ 4 to try any variety of 6 wines they have. They are part of the weekday passport which allows visitors with the pass to get a free tasting. My favorite wine was Serendipity — it’s a white wine which offers such a surprising journey for your palate. I had to get a bottle to bring home! Another favorite is the Mull it Over! Kind of like a winter spiced cider in wine form. You can drink it room temperature, but you can also heat it and it really is great for keeping warm on a wintry day. Thanks so much for tasty experience!

Love this place — very spacious. The wines were great, the beer was good but the rootbeer that they make onsite was PHENOMENAL! Anna manned the bar/tasting area and is by far the perfect person to make your day complete. MUSTGO!

Lacks class and elegance in all categories. I’ve never experienced disorganized wine tasting with poor customer service like this. Fun enough because I brought a large party with me. I think my expectations are too high to expect the type of service I receive in Napa Valley. Still, I prefer feeling taken care of and paid attention to. A great spot to taste and buy IF you’re on a budget, which I’m not. The pourers weren’t particularly great with people and I don’t like hearing an employee complain about customers to another employee. And they shouldn’t talk about when they get to go home as part of my wine tasting experience. I don’t care when you go home. If you’re open for another hour — which u were — you’re good. Just hush up and keep pouring.

Came the weekend before Christmas on a limo tour with friends from Buffalo. They had a lively band playing Christmas tunes and a fun crowd. It was loud with the band, but we enjoyed it. They had some nice wines for a decent price. They had some good buy-2-get-1-free, or 3-pack combo specials. For Christmas, I bought my mom the Springhouse Red and we cracked that open tonight and had half the bottle. Got her the Happenstance, too. People were friendly and laid back.

I liked their Gewürztraminer, and their Pinot Noir. Service was good. Slightly pretentious though.

It was awkwardly quiet here, everyone at the wineries around here are sort of awkward it seems. Anyway, after our near silent visit, we brought home a bottle of their Row House Red Table Wine and white Serendipity which were both easy-drinking table wines.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience at this winery. Carol helped us with our tasting. She was so friendly and knowledgable. She even offered ideas for us to do on a rainy day as it was scheduled to rain later in our trip! We also really enjoyed the wine we tried here. The tasting room was beautiful and we were very happy with our visit!
