Great price for an oil change! They were nice and convenient to the hotel I was staying in. I got the $ 21.99 oil change, tire rotation, tire pressure & brake check. Easy & fast service. After everything they told me what the car was due for (brake service & transmission flush). What I really appreciated is that they didn’t try to sell me on it and they were even nice enough to recommend against the transmission flush if the car had never had one before because it might actually mess up the transmission.
The minus 2 stars is because I told them my check engine light was on during my 4 hour drive into Geneva from NYC. I was borrowing the car from my brother and it was blowing lots of smoke from the exhaust for a while. They said they would check it out. But when I picked up the car, all they said was the light wasn’t on when they put the car on the lift. They said it could have just been the gas cap not being screwed on tightly enough and not to worry about it as long as it wasn’t on.
Needless to say, 20 – 30 minutes into my drive back to NYC, the light came on again and stayed on the whole time. Being that I was a girl, driving 4 – 5 hours by myself through the middle of nowhere, I would have appreciated them checking a little more thoroughly. I would have been really upset, but honestly, I don’t know how much they could have analyzed if the light was off. Guess I need to become my own mechanic.
