In late August I spent a week visiting the Geneva area. One of my favorite pubs to stop by and have a few was Gallagher’s. It’s a firefighter /​cop bar. I’m a recently retired California cop. Everyone at Gallagher’s made me feel welcomed. But regardless of who you are, if you go to Gallagher’s to hang out and have fun, you will have fun.

Best dive bar in Geneva, if they know you. I am going to be honest, when I first started coming here no one would talk to me besides the bartender. I felt unwelcome until I realized they all either work together or grew up together. This is a sausage factory folks, all men, but it works. I will give props to Jud and one of the owners, Gags. Jud makes a mean drink. Cash only, not a college crowd, and rowdy at night. Fun.
