Heard about this place from some friends and decided to swing in. The owner, Eric, roasts, grinds, and sells his own coffees, and they’re delicious. This isn’t a café, but they usually have some hot and iced coffee on hand to try.
Eric is exceptionally knowledgable and fun to talk to about coffee. Try the Papua New Guinea Madan Estate!

Highly recommend FreshGround. The coffee is extremely fresh and there are multiple roast and bean options. We stumbled upon Fresh Ground when we took a brewing class here with family. The owners are quite knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Beyond that, they love to educate others about their product. Everything is ethically sourced, but not overpriced which might cause some to shy away. We picked up some cold brew the last time we visited and we’re excited to give that a shot. The «growler» it comes in is really awesome. If you enjoy quality coffee you’d be remiss to drive past FreshGround.

I really like the bean and roast options here. I had a cup of breakfast blend at Courageous Café and I was sold! This is a great blend with lots of flavor and no discernible acid. At this point we have tried almost all of their coffee and have been very pleased. The single origins are great and it feels good to be able to track the sourcing and trade practices. Give FreshGround a chance you won’t be disappointed. Disclosure; I worked in an espresso café back in 1974 and we took «coffee classes». We also sold retail beans by the pound. So I won’t buy coffee just anywhere especially if it is sold on every street corner or needs syrups or spices to make it taste good. Just honest coffee will do.

Came here today to pick up a pound of coffee and ended up leaving with a sample cup of coffee and two different types of coffee! Eric was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and took the time to explain the differences between each roast/​bean he had and helped pick out what was the flavor profile I was looking for and even gave me a sample taste of one of my choices. Great service and a great product!
