The Gold Club Gonzales

I’ve been to this place several times over the years and each time I get a different experience. The vibe seems to change every few months. Sometimes the girls are good looking and I’d gladly recommend the place, and then other times it’s just barely a step up from the old Oakridge lounge. I don’t personally partake in «extras» but I hear they are an option. Lighting inside is TERRIBLE. It’s extremely dark. Beer prices aren’t too bad but mix drinks are high. Cops are usually patrolling the hwy around closing time.
If you happen to live closer to this club than the other clubs in the Baton Rouge area, then it’s not the worst place to go but i’d personally suggest just driving the extra miles and going to Crazy Horse in Port Allen. Especially since they remodeled.

I like this place well enough, but it’s gotten really tame over the last year (not to mention losing some of its hottest talent like a smoking little spinner who went by the name Ariana). It used to be that some pretty wild times could be had in the VIP areas, but it’s much rarer now.
Drinks are reasonable (for a strip club), and every so often they’ll offer $ 5 shot specials. (They make a mean Vegas Bomb there.) Single song dances are $ 30; not the cheapest I’ve seen, but not the priciest either.
As for the dancers… it’s really kind of hit and miss, actually. Some nights you’re falling in love every time you turn around, and on others, there’s barely a girl worth watching. The number of dancers varies widely too; some nights there are so few girls – or so few actually mingling with customers – that it’s really not worth the money.
Overall, strictly average – and trending downward over the last year. It does hold one record for me, though… for the only time in my life, I saw Santa Claus get his ass whipped (Christmas, ’13).

They have a pretty heavy rotation of girls every month or so, which is about how often I go. Lately… And I mean now… You won’t be disappointed. They’re all young with no signs of motherdom lingering on their bodies. Absolutely gorgeous. There are a few with the naughty schoolgirl vibe — glasses. A super cool black chick with the prettiest hair on the planet. Ask for the puerto rican! If you don’t mind tats, she’s fab… New girl = novelty. Oh yeah!

It’s a titty club… T & A on the stage and a sausage fest in the seats… this is a pretty small club… one bar and one U shaped stage… however both legs of the U are set up so individual girls can shake their moneymakers… the legs of the U are connected by about a 4 – 5 foot wide walkway with some smaller brasswork (looked kinda like monkey bars) so I guess if they wanted to they could have 5 or 6 girls out there on certain occasions… Didn’t have to pay a cover cause I strolled in at about 1:40 AM and they shut it down PROMPTLY at 2 AM…
Talent behind the bar but look careful cause one of them is married to the manager and I wouldn’t want to get on his fighting side!!! They pour a stiff drink which I’m sure ain’t the only thing «stiff» in the club… but they should for the prices…
Caught a coupla the ladies doing end of the shift work… with most clubs that is typically the newbs… but the ladies looked alright to me… didn’t see any medically enhanced talent in the short time I was in… but I tend to stay on neutral ground, the bar
But if you just absolutely, positively need to see some shakin’ going on then stop on in… I reckon there will be something to tickle your fancy…
