We visited this restaurant on a day trip because it was listed on . The restaurant website description was very appealing, so we gave it a try even though there were some negative reviews. It was an average from the past place, with very nice local color in the friendly men who came and went. I ordered a 10 oz ribeye cooked medium, with green beans, baked potato, and a salad, and my husband ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and a salad. The salads were very fresh with lots of delicious garden grown tomatoes on top, and the dressings(bleu cheese and ranch) were delicious. The green beans were canned, but dressed up nicely with bacon and onion, and the baked potato was freshly baked, not left over from the day before. My steak, however, was cooked well done and was tough, without the usual marbling one expects from a ribeye. The spaghetti sauce was originally quite tasty and was edible, but was unfortunately scorched when warmed up. I’d give it another try if in the area, as the menu is quite extensive with seafood and many kinds of sandwiches. BTW, they have just installed new carpeting, so it is apparent they are doing upgrades. The restrooms are clean and well stocked, though there is only one sink to be shared by both men and women.

Negative stars for this restaurant. Came here tonight with my family(including my very young daughter) and literally had a panic attack before I got out of there. The owner came in and started yelling at our server — language I have never heard in my life. It made me so uncomfortable I wanted to leave before our food came. The screaming continued the rest of the time we were there. My Dad ordered the broasted chicken, and it was literally rotten. The worst thing I’ve ever smelled. My Mom’s hamburger steak was red inside. And I got so upset by the lunatic screaming that we had to leave immediately. To top it off we still had to pay for the inedible meal. Stay far far far away from this restaurant and this woman. It is my understanding that she also sells real estate in the area — terrible awful lady.

Gave it four stars for what it is, a little motel restaurant. And for the area a nice enough place if you don’t want fast food. Really nice patio facing the lake was too cold for us to use but must be nice in the spring or summer. Fries and patty melt was good, Dad enjoyed his club sandwich, and the others in our group enjoyed their chili, grill cheese, and burgers. Breakfast only on weekends.

This motel/restaurant is indescribable. It had the most… unique… atmosphere of any place we’ve ever stayed. Everyone should stay here at least once. If for nothing else, the stories you’ll pass along to your friends and family will be priceless!

If it were possible to give a negative star, I would. In all of the thousands of restaurants I have eaten at, this was undoubtedly the worse meal I have ever had. After a 15 minute wait for a margarita, I was rewarded with a drink made from a tequila so cheap that it was undrinkable. Things only got worse. My husband’s open faced roast beef sandwich came with bread that had a spot of mold that was nickel sized. My grilled ham and cheese tasted as though the ham had been left out in the sun for days. Totally inedible. I was afraid to even feed the leftovers to my dogs. If you value your health, steer clear of this place!

In our search for something original my family stumbled across this restaurant returning from a day at Little River Canyon. Our verdict was unanimous, the atmosphere was dingy and the quality of the food poor. My son Chase’s review was«It’s horrible, I didn’t like it at all.»
