Decent little arcade located in the Mountain Mall in the tourist-y heart of Gatlinburg. It’s not huge but there’s a little variety of games. There’s your average DDR, air hockey tables, typical ticket redemption games, a few racing and shooting games like Sega’s NASCAR sim and one of my favorites ‘Harley-Davidson & L.A. Riders’. The(manager?) employee who runs the arcade is cool. I asked him if he could take a look at the low sound volume on the Harley-Davidson game, but he said that he didn’t have keys that fit through the machine’s coin box(Sega arcade machines require their own keys IIRC). At least he actually TRIED helping me. :P Good cheap arcade, most games take 2 tokens. In fact very few I saw took 4. My favorite game took 2 tokens. :D If you want be more cheaper, you might wanna consider this arcade instead of the one near the Space Needle, or even Fannie Farkle’s and the Ripley’s arcade.

This was the most active activity that we had done on our trip. My boyfriend and I spent $ 10 on competing on the basketball shoot out. Clearly, he won every game as he plays basketball with his friends often at the gym. I was disadvantaged having won non-sensible shoes and constantly worried about having set my purse down and fearing someone might run off with it. The Skeeball was interesting as one ball came out at aa time whereas I’m used to a stack of them rolling down. We actually gave our tickets and winnings away to a family as we just enjoyed the fun we had here. There are plenty of games to choose from. I think it’s average token costs across the board with arcades, but the tickets to redeem prizes seemed kind of high. Hopefully some kid gets a little something extra from us.
