HOLYCOW!!! Worst customer service EVER! I would never even consider stepping foot in this store again. I learned something about UPS Stores in general the first(and last) time I went here: UPS Stores get to make up and enforce their own rules. They run their own franchises which are quasi-independent from UPS. Here’s the low-down: I needed to send a package to someone, so I brought it to this UPS Store on Union Road. I fill out the address and sign something that says something like«I agree to let UPS send my package» –but it does NOT state that I verify that any information is correct. It is essentially a receipt for the monetary transaction. The lady that typed in the address wrote the address in made a typo– she put«west» instead of «east». End Result: the package gets delayed & the person has to drive all the way across town to pick up this package(about an hour out of the way), after having a slip placed on the door that said that the package was not deliverable to the«west» address. How the slip made it and the package didn’t, I have not a clue. I spent a lot of money to send this package, so I was not pleased that this was delayed and caused such an inconvenience for the recipient. When I went back to the UPS store to tell them that they had made a mistake(I verified with the recipient that the address was written correctly on the package), they could not have cared less. They wouldn’t entertain the idea of even a partial reimbursement or accepting any accountability. They told me that I must have made a mistake. When I told them that it was the fault of the person who input the address, they told me that I signed something verifying the address was correct. When I pulled out the signed slip which clearly did not state that I verified the above information was correct, they continued to refuse to help me(or even APOLOGIZE!!!). They were SORUDE! I would encourage anyone considering going to this store to turn around and head to a USPS or FedEx right away.
