We had such a great time. What a unique experience. The two wine bogs and 1 wine goat were a wonderful welcoming committee! And the wine, well… Just as wonderful! Left with some wine and look forward to getting the chance to visit again!

What a small great winery owned by Clare Carver & Brian Marcy, Got to make it a must see if you visit the Valley, It’s a bit farther out than Elk Cove, No cell service! But a superb experience to meet such nice people who embody the essence of a small business owner. True artisans… winemakers, artists, & farmers. Absolute must to be on the mailing list since they do not have a club, They sell everything they make. Kudos Did I mention they make Outstanding wines, very small production and maybe the best OR value for the quality presented. Highly respected by all in the Valley, just ask anyone. Chardonnay and Pelos Pinot are fabulous, Bought a case. Levi & Clementine are the best wine dogs you’ll meet. Note: Clare does Competitive Plowing! Wonder when we will see that on ESPN???

I disagree with the last reviewer, the drive is a delight! You’re in the Yamhills-Carlton district way off the beaten path. You come across a beautiful yellow Victorian with cows, chickens, even a goat(who’ll get a little friendly if you let him or maybe even if you don’t). The word that comes to mind is idyllic. On the way to the airport we called them up. We had a few extra spots in our case on the way to the airport and we stop by and pick up a few bottles and save ourselves the shipping! Brian Marcy, the winemaker, is always a great conversation. And don’t be surprised if you leave with some farm fresh eggs(which are ridiculously good). We’ve had his juice on several occasions and it’s good. Really good. Wish we had time for a tasting!

Driving to this house is a pain, but worthwhile and memorable. The folks are too nice and welcoming. Go on an occasion when they have smoked pork belly — you won’t want to leave. Beautiful paintings in the house. Their wines are out of this world. I love their Syrah. It doesn’t just taste like a good wine it tastes like home. SEEMYOTHERMANYWINEREVIEWS!!!
